Town Green Lane Roadworks: 14th September – 18th September

We have been made aware of roadworks on Town Green Lane between 9:30am and 3pm for the full week commencing 14th September 2026.

The road will be inaccessible between those times, and therefore our car park will also be inaccessible.

We have been told that there will be a diversion in place, but due to the little detail provided by the company conducting the roadworks, we are not certain where this diversion will route.

If you have an appointment at the practice during this period, please ensure that you allow extra time to find somewhere to park and walk to the surgery premises.

Please be aware that the surgery has been experiencing significant problems with our phone system since yesterday afternoon, which are still ongoing. This is due to a third-party issue which is beyond our control.

We have been able to continue taking phone calls to reception by using back-up mobile phones. However, we are aware that a small number of these calls are going to a voicemail instead of the normal queuing system.

The issue is expected to be fixed over the weekend, but if you need to contact the surgery in the meantime, please keep the above in mind.

We apologise for the inconvenience that this has caused to any patients who have had difficulty contacting the surgery, but we would ask for your patience whilst we try and continue to operate normally under these circumstances.
