We have the First Quarter Moon — a powerful turning point in the lunar cycle. It reaches its exact First Quarter phase at 5:12 PM this evening here in the UK.

Some things about the First Quarter Moon:

• It appears as a perfect half-lit disc — half in light, half in shadow

• It marks the moment the moon is one quarter of the way through its orbit from New Moon to Full Moon

• It rises around midday, stands high at sunset, and sets around midnight

• Astrologically, this one is in Capricorn — a time of grounding, commitment, and finding balance between what we began and what we're building

• It sits at a right angle between the Earth and Sun — a beautiful moment of tension and balance, where light and dark meet equally

I'm really looking forward to exploring this Quarter Moon cycle — bringing balance to these energies through the beautiful resonance of the Wind Gong, Earth Gong, and Sun Gong. Sound as a bridge between light and shadow, clarity and grounding.
