More utterly amazing breath facts!
When you practice smooth, deep breathing like dirga pranayama or complete yogic breath you support the brain's waste management system, known as the glymphatic system. This is responsible for xlearing out toxins and cellular debris (this also happens in deep sleep). Cellular debris is associated with neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimers. Deep breathing also enhances the distribution of glucose, proteins, and essential neurotransmitters throughout the central nervous system, and we already know that it shifts the nervous system into a parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) state, reducing systemic cortisol, muscle tension, and stress! How about that? You can do ALL this in any class of mine but especially on Friday mornings at 10 for Yoga, Breath and Meditation!! https://goteamup.com/p/1534221-north-star-yoga/
