What a lovely picture and a lovely memory of me and Scott at maya bay on our favourite holiday.
Spoiled by me scrutinising the way I look again.
So I got off my arse and actually did something to change.
I find it funny that when someone changes their body, everyone either wants to know how they did it, like what’s their secret? And whatever vehicle you’ve used to get there, the journey is still the same.
Eaten less than the body needs.
Keto, slimming world, Herbalife, Mediterranean, juice cleanse, 5:2, 16:8, fatloss jabs, they all do the same thing - the trick is to learn how to keep it off. Gyms can be useful for this ya know 😁
The most successful fatloss occurs - when it’s maintainable.
When you’ve used your diet to implement habits that have been stacked so it’s second nature. Not from going cold turkey and cutting everything out. I did that in prep, for a specific reason and rebounded so horribly that I felt ashamed. Sure I eat healthy foods 80% of the time , and I train hard, but actually I also am known to eat my kids leftovers, pick at their sweets and raid the cupboards whilst I make tea at 4pm also for 80% of the time - the math doesn’t math. I am you.
I mentioned that I eat sweets on a long run. Sweet things have been by biggest weakness my whole adult life. I eat sweets or cake when I’m happy, sad, bored, stressed or tired. The sweets themselves aren’t the problem, me not dealing with how I feel is. And it’s just become a horrible habit of mine.
So I thought it was high time that I did what I coach other people to do.
It’s rare that someone has problems dealing with their fatloss because they don’t know what to do, or no willpower, or they’re lazy.
Everyone’s starting point is different, and that’s why you won’t receive any judgement from me.
Just real , compassionate coaching.
I am not just the face of a business, but I’m human too, with very normal genetics, and the same struggles that you have.
But I can get my s**t together when I want to.
