A very familiar face was back at Cannelle last week 👀🤍

We absolutely loved having Darcie back in with us at Cannelle - and as always, it was such a joy to have her.

This visit started with a VISIA Skin Analysis and consultation with Lauren, giving us a really detailed picture of exactly where Darcie’s skin is right now.

Darcie’s skin is genuinely in really great shape - but there is always something we can work on, and for Darcie that was skin texture. Even the most beautiful skin can benefit from a little extra attention, and that is exactly what we are here for.

With that in mind, Lauren recommended a HydraFacial, one of our most loved treatments here at Cannelle. Deeply cleansing, intensely hydrating and incredibly relaxing all at the same time, it was the perfect treatment to smooth Darcie’s texture and leave her with that fresh, glowing complexion she deserves.

And that wasn’t all, Darcie also spent some time with Dr Mattia for some injectable treatments. Keep your eyes peeled because those videos are coming very soon!

We love that Darcie gets to head back to teaching Pilates feeling completely confident in her skin - radiant, refreshed and ready for anything 🧘‍♀️✨

Ever wondered what actually happens at your first injectable appointment? Dr Mattia breaks it all down 👆

At Cannelle, we always say the consultation is longer than the treatment itself, and that’s intentional. Before a single injection is placed, Dr Mattia takes the time to sit down with you, understand your concerns, your goals, your medical history, and what you’re hoping to feel like when you leave.

From there, Dr Mattia will carry out a full facial assessment - analysing your anatomy, your natural proportions, and the relationship between different areas of your face, before talking you through a personalised treatment plan tailored entirely to you.

Only once you feel fully informed and comfortable will treatment proceed.

Wherever you choose to have your injectables, Dr Mattia always recommends seeking treatment from a qualified medical professional. Not only do medics have a thorough understanding of facial anatomy, but crucially, they are trained to recognise and manage complications should they ever arise - something that is essential when it comes to your safety.

A day in the life of our Clinic Manager, Lauren 🤍

It all starts with a coffee — because no day at Cannelle begins without one for Lauren ☕

She arrives at the clinic and gets straight into opening up, making sure everything is perfect before the day begins.

First up, a morning meeting to set the tone for the day, followed by a round of calls to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Then it’s into the treatment rooms to get everything set up and ready for clients, before packing some skincare orders scheduled for collection.

Next, a skin consultation and VISIA skin analysis — one of our favourite ways to truly understand a client’s skin before building their personalised treatment plan.

Then this afternoon, a very exciting event meeting… we can’t say too much yet, but something special is coming and you are not going to want to miss it 👀

A well-earned lunch break followed (a delicious chicken caesar wrap 🥙) before Lauren got hands-on with a microneedling treatment — one of her absolute favourites.

And to finish the day, a little content filming for our social media — and then finally, home time.
