A 2025 double-blind randomised trial published in Nature Scientific Reports.
47 people with brain injury, 40 sessions at 1.5 ATA versus a sham protocol.
The HBOT group showed a mean improvement of 10.6 on the Neurobehavioural Symptom Inventory, against 3.6 in the sham group (p=0.01), with further gains at 9 and 12 months.
This is direct, sham-controlled validation at 1.5 ATA. One of the strongest brain-injury HBOT trials published to date.
