Happy world curlew day 🌍 🤎

The sound of spring and always a joy to see everyday at this time of the year in Teesdale. I feel very lucky to live in the landscape that these lovely birds return to year after year. I can’t help but be inspired by their distinctive shapes and charm ✨

These porcelain curlews are available on my website or at Bowlees Visitor Centre, alongside a few of the last small curlew cups.

I have uploaded a load of pottery to my shop on my brand spanking new website! This website has taken me sooo long… I’ve created my own font, drawn every button, made a mailing list & all whilst being a non-tech savvy little gremlin 👾

Please check it out (let me know if you find any issues) and maybe even buy something whilst you’re there ;)

Jan/Feb/March photo dump except all I’ve been doing is making coffee, teaching workshops & barely taking any photos… enjoying being a little ghostling on instagram but I will be back to being full time handmade by abi from next week after my last day in the cafe on the 20th :( a little bittersweeet because I absolutely love working in the cafe and being a social little bee, meeting lots of lovely people, but also ready to get stuck into making new pots & new projects.

Very grateful for a gentle start to this year before some bigg changes coming up… keep your eyes peeled for that… ☕️ 🤎 🐶

(& trying to work out how to jump back into the algorithm as I must have got lost in the black hole of instagram by now…)
