It’s been so lovely being back at our weekly developmental classes! 💙

Today’s theme was WEATHER ☀️🌧️🌈 — with lots of fun opportunities for babies to play, explore and develop.

Each week is themed and includes developmental advice and hands-on support, tailored to the needs and stage of the babies attending, all delivered by me, a Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist. 👶🏻 ✨

🎒BACK TO SCHOOL = BACK TO SPORT🏃‍♀️

If your children are anything like mine, they seem to have grown a few inches over the summer ☺️📏…..

As they head back to school and return to their usual sports and activities, such growth spurts can sometimes leave kids and young people more vulnerable to growth-related pain and sports injuries.

I’m proud to be a KidsBack2Sport Practitioner with over 20 years’ experience working with children and young people in sport. 💙 Through my training and experience, I can help identify factors and help prevent growth-related injuries by supporting families with the right stretching, strengthening and optimising biomechanics to keep them active and enjoying sport! 💪 🩰 🏉 🏀 🎾 ⚽️.

✨ Summer Pilates was just awesome✨

A huge thank you to everyone who joined me for Summer Pilates block! 🥰

It was fantastic to see such a lovely mix of ages and abilities, with everyone being so encouraging and supportive of each other. 💙

I’ve also had some lovely feedback from the young people about how much they enjoyed our mindfulness sessions 🧘‍♀️✨ — which are all part of the regular classes.

If your young person would like to join us, I run weekly Pilates classes:

🗓️ Tuesdays
⏰ 4pm & 5pm
📚 Term-time, block booking.

Classes are currently full, but message me if you’d like to be added to the waiting list, the class is suitable for age 8years+.

💙 A huge THANK YOU to the 24 amazing families who joined us for this week’s Family Fitness FUN sessions! 💙

It was fantastic to see so many of you getting active together, having fun, and making the most of our sunny summer holidays so far! Big shout out to the family who travelled all the way from Edinburgh to join us 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻.

I’m planning two more sessions next week and would love to see even more families come along:

Huge thanks to Borders Additional Needs Group SCIO for inviting me along to their summer camp today 🫶🏻 🌈 .

⭐️ There’s something really special about meeting new families and supporting children and young people in a relaxed and inclusive environment.

💙 Today I had the pleasure of delivering bespoke Mindful Movement sessions and sharing regulation techniques to help children and young people recognise their emotions, feel calm and build confidence.

🩷 It was wonderful to connect with so many families and see children exploring these techniques in a fun and supportive setting.

Thank you for such a warm welcome—I loved being part of your day! ⭐️
