It’s not there to “warm you up” while you mentally arrive to class.
It’s there because your feet are your foundation.
How your feet load, grip, press and stabilise directly affects: – ankle alignment
– knee tracking
– pelvic stability
– core activation
– glute engagement
– even your pelvic floor connection
So no… we don’t rush through it.
And no… we don’t skip it because someone wants to get “straight to the hard stuff.” 😉
The hard stuff works BETTER when the body is switched on properly first.
Footwork gives feedback.
It exposes compensations.
It teaches control.
It wakes up muscles most people haven’t connected to in years.
Strong movement starts from the ground up.
