Autumn is nature’s reminder that slowing down is productive too 🍂

After the busyness of summer, there’s something about the change in season that naturally makes us want to turn inward, reset our routines and take stock of how we’re actually feeling.

Floatation therapy gives you the space to do exactly that. An hour away from the noise, notifications and demands of everyday life, with minimal sensory input and nothing expected of you but rest💧

Use this season as an opportunity to decompress, give your nervous system a chance to settle and reconnect with what you want from the final few months of 2026 💭

You don’t have to wait until January for a fresh start. Sometimes slowing down is exactly where it begins 🤍

The summer holidays are nearly over, the house is about to get a little quieter… but after weeks of being constantly needed, your mind and body might take a little longer to catch up 🤍

September can feel like a fresh start for parents too. After weeks of days out, childcare, endless snacks, disrupted routines and keeping everyone else entertained, it’s a chance to finally put a little time back in the diary for yourself.

Floatation therapy gives you an hour with almost no external demands or distractions. No notifications to answer, nowhere to rush to and nobody needing anything from you. Just buoyant, weightless water and space to properly slow down💧

So before September fills up with school runs, work and another never-ending to-do list, book in your reset.

What should I wear to my float session? 💧

Come in whatever makes you feel comfortable. We usually recommend wearing loose, comfy clothes that are easy to change in and out of, so you can arrive feeling relaxed from the moment you walk through the door 🧖‍♀️

For your float itself, many guests choose to float without swimwear because it allows for the most unrestricted experience, helping to minimise distractions and enhance the feeling of weightlessness.

That said, your comfort always comes first. If you’d feel more relaxed wearing swimwear, that’s absolutely fine too. There’s no right or wrong way to float!

Our goal is simply to help you create the most peaceful, restorative experience possible 🤍

If you’ve spent the summer holidays making memories, keeping everyone entertained, packing bags, preparing meals and making sure everyone else is okay...

When was the last time you gave yourself that same care? 🤍

As September approaches, it’s easy to jump straight back into routines, school runs and busy schedules. But before life speeds up again, take a moment to pause.

Floatation therapy gives you 60 minutes with no notifications, no demands and no pressure. Just space to breathe, switch off and let your mind and body truly rest.

You can’t pour from an empty cup, and rest isn’t something you have to earn 🧖‍♀️

As humans in the modern world we are terrible at resting, something we often feel guilty for, meaning we never really switch off, which is why we absolutely encourage falling asleep in the floatation pod 💤

The water is so buoyant with 1000lbs of Epsom Salt, that your head won’t be able to turn💧we also provide halos for extra head support that you can use throughout your float.

Falling asleep whilst floating is incredibly restorative, and more often than not, floating gives you exactly what your body needs in that moment and sometimes that is true rest. With no distractions, light, sound or gravity ☁️

Finding it harder to sleep in summer? 🌙 There’s a reason for it!

Longer daylight hours, warmer nights and higher temperatures can all make it more difficult for your body to cool down and prepare for sleep.

Floatation therapy is designed to support deep relaxation by reducing external stimulation. With no light, no noise and no pressure on the body, it creates the conditions for your mind and body to properly unwind.

In this weightless environment, many people find their breathing slows, muscle tension softens, and the mind begins to switch off.

Sometimes, better sleep starts long before your head hits the pillow 💧

One of our most asked questions over the past couple of weeks is, do we have air con?

You’ll be glad to know, the answer is yes 😮‍💨

Our space is fully air conditioned, making it the perfect escape from the summer heat 🌞

And if you’re wondering about the float itself... the water isn’t like a hot bath. It’s carefully maintained at skin temperature, so after a few minutes your body stops noticing where you end and the water begins.

Step out of the heat, leave the world behind for an hour, and enjoy a space designed to help you truly switch off 💧

How can flotation therapy help during pregnancy? 🤍

As your body changes, everyday life can start to feel a little heavier. That’s why many mums-to-be find floating such a welcome opportunity to slow down, rest, and recharge.

The buoyant water fully supports your body, helping to take pressure off tired muscles, joints, and your spine. Combined with a calm, quiet environment, it creates space to soften tension, slow your breathing, and switch off from the outside world for a while.

For some, it’s simply a chance to rest. For others, it’s a peaceful space to practise breathwork, visualisation, or hypnobirthing techniques and connect with their baby.

A rare moment of true stillness during a time when your body is doing so much ✨

If you’re considering floating during pregnancy, we’re always happy to answer any questions you may have.

Here’s what the water in our float tank actually feels like during summer💧

The water in our float pod is kept at exactly skin temperature, around 34-35°C. That’s the same as the surface of your body, which means rather than feeling hot or cold, you stop feeling the water at all. It quite literally disappears.

So even on the warmest days, stepping into the float tank feels less like a hot bath and more like... nothing. Just weightlessness, quiet, and your body finally getting the chance to fully let go.

Summer is actually one of our favourite times to float, because that mental and physical overstimulation builds up fast in the heat. Come and find out what real rest feels like 🤍
