Sunday morning bakes 🥖

The EASIEST bread in the world to make and only 4 ingredients (one of which is water 💦) soooo super healthy with none of the processed keek that keeps shop bought bread edible for forever 😂

480g bread flour (I used a wholemeal one)
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of instant yeast
375ml of water

Mix all of the above together in a large bowl, cover with cling film and leave on the kitchen worktop for 8-10hrs, or overnight (that’s what I done). NO need to kneed it at all, just mix it with a big spoon until it’s combined into a dough.

Take it out onto a floured surface, don’t roll it or pat it, just lay onto a floured surface, cut in half, sprinkle tiny bit of flour on top, place in a baking tray and then pop them into a preheated oven at 240 degrees for 25mins……bingo, done!!!

No need for it to be placed in a warm place overnight, it naturally rises whilst at room temperature.

Chocolate, Banana and Oat bread

Saturday Kitchen

2 ripe bananas mashed
175g oats
400ml milk of your choice
60g chocolate protein powder
25g Coca powder
1 tsp Baking Powder
30g chocolate chips
2 tsp honey

Mix it all together, whack it in the oven for 45mins at 190 degrees

Taste tested and approved by the child so it must be good 😋👍🏻

High in protein and fibre, low in carbs 👍🏻

(You’ll have noticed I changed dishes….first one was too small 🤦🏼‍♀️😂)
