My feet are telling on me… 👀👣

Watch me quite literally bare my soul through foot reading!

I never expected to be sharing my feet online, but the more I learn, the more fascinated I become by the stories our feet might tell.

My foot reading course has opened up a whole new dimension to my work. In my treatments, I’m used to reading reflexes through touch - feeling the different reflexes beneath my hands. But foot reading offers a completely different perspective, adding another layer to how I understand the feet and what they might reveal.

So, what do my feet say about me? From people-pleasing and needing change to being sentimental and hiding my feelings behind humour… tbh it’s pretty spot on!

Now I want to know - do you recognise any of these traits in yourself?

Reflexology with my 3 year old princess 👑🦄😂

I managed to get my hands briefly on a few reflexes she needs, whilst talking about unicorns (whose name was apparently “Poo Poo”💩) and her 7 children, who all love chocolate and soup.

It’s always a bit of fun and completely on her terms, but she absolutely cracks me up!

My tiniest (and most unpredictable) client 🥰

Hello, pituitary gland! 👋🏼

This client had a particularly sensitive pituitary reflex - especially when I linked it with the o***y reflex.

From a reflexology perspective, I would interpret this as an area that may be reflecting hormonal changes or imbalance.

The pituitary is often referred to as the “master gland” because it plays such an important role in regulating so many of our hormones - including thyroid function, reproductive hormones, pregnancy and breastfeeding hormones, and adrenal function.

It’s essentially a central hormone coordinator, communicating with other glands throughout the body.

This is a reflex I find really interesting when working with women, as it can seem to talk to me in so many different ways during a treatment.

In fact, it’s the only reflex that can make my thumb vibrate uncontrollably! 😂 At this point, I know it’s telling me to back off slightly… but I always find a way to work with it gently and help the area feel safe in the end.

After chatting with my client, I found out that she had recently stopped breastfeeding which was interesting.

Of course I have to say…. reflexology is complementary, and a foot reflex doesn’t diagnose. But it can be fascinating to observe the body’s responses and use them as part of the wider treatment conversation. 🤍

My 6 year old son told me “Daddy’s job is way better than yours, all you do is stroke feet all day”

He’s very into his daddy at the moment, but in his defence, he said it in his usual cheeky banterous way!

It did inspire me to explain why Refleoxlogy is so much more than just a foot massage.

There’s so much more to what happens during a reflexology treatment, and it’s something I’m really passionate about helping people understand!

✨I am grateful to be alive and thriving ✨

Love this card I’ve pulled for my treatment room this week. How lucky are we? Breathing, living and getting to experience it all.

A little reminder for myself amongst the busy days, the kids, the to do lists and everything else life throws at us!

Hope it helps you too ❤️

Reflexology works by applying gentle pressure to specific points on the feet, helping to support the body’s natural healing response.

We all have the ability to access this healing system - it sometimes just needs the right support. Reflexology encourages activation of the parasympathetic nervous system, the part of our body responsible for our “rest and digest” state.

When we make time to slow down, our bodies have a better opportunity to restore balance ❤️

So what does it actually mean? 👀

I’ve recently completed a fascinating Foot Reading course, which has really added another layer of insight to my treatments!

👣 If you CAN separate your little toe:
You’re adventurous, love change and need plenty of stimulation. You enjoy a good challenge and routine isn’t really your thing. In fact, if things get too predictable, you might just upset the apple cart to see what happens! (Guilty!)

👣 If you CAN’T separate your little toe:
You’re more likely to thrive on routine and a sense of security. You like knowing what’s coming next and may not be a huge fan of surprises. You’re loyal, reliable and trustworthy - the person people know they can count on.

I’d love to know, does this resonate with you, or is it completely off? Tell me in the comments!

In a world that constantly asks us to do more, slowing down can feel uncomfortable. Yet our bodies are designed to heal, restore, and rebalance when given the opportunity.

Reflexology is a gentle, holistic therapy that encourages deep relaxation and supports activation of the parasympathetic nervous system - our body’s natural “rest and digest” state. When we move out of survival mode and into a state of calm, we create the conditions for our bodies to function at their best.

Self-care isn’t selfish, and it isn’t a luxury. It’s an investment in your physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing.

When was the last time you truly gave yourself permission to pause?
