Lush session with Jenne, adding St Sebastian and a lugger to her patchwork legs 🏹 ⛵️

The first was inspired by an ink drawing Jenne came across at the Met Museum during a trip to New York, while the second came from the luggers she saw out in the bay when she first moved to Cornwall.

The arrows and those striking reddish sails were what brought these two pieces together, making them the first touches of colour in her leg collection.

I had a great time tattooing these for you, thank you Jenne!

Can’t believe it’s nearly been a year since I tattooed Libby for the first time! 🌿

Since then, we’ve been working on a meadow themed sleeve across the lower leg. As the larger project was planned in brown ink, we decided to test how it would heal with this piece first.

Looking forward to picking up the meadow again at the end of the month ✍🏻

Boswens menhir for Sophie 🪨

Boswens Menhir stands in an area rich in Bronze Age remains, surrounded by a landscape marked by these ancient traces of human life.

I’ve become increasingly drawn to standing stones. Growing up, I never really had the chance to see them. The only one I knew was Stonehenge, from the desktop wallpaper of Windows XP 😂 Since moving to Cornwall, I’ve loved coming across these monuments and making them the destination of long walks.

For Sophie, this menhir has been part of the landscape of her growing up, a familiar presence to return to, a compass guiding her to home. Such a pleasure to tattoo this for you.

✢ Availability update ✢

November is fully booked, as it’s that time of the year when I head back to motherland, my favourite season and all. 🍂

A few weeks of autumnal colours, crisp mountain air, the smell of roasted chestnuts, mulled w**e in front of the fire with the fam, crosswords with grandad, and exploring new corners with Steve, whilst gathering material for new drawings. And this time again, I’ll be tagging along a week of guest work at Voodoo Ink Tattoo Shop - Tatuaggi Chieri too 🫶🏻

That means my last availability before the end of the year falls a couple of weeks before Christmas, so if you’re hoping to squeeze a tattoo in before the holidays, feel free to get in touch.

Finally getting to share Becky’s patchwork half leg sleeve ✍🏻

Made by puzzling together crawlies, botanicals, occult bits and all sorts of lil creatures, pretty much the kind of project that keeps me entertained from start to finish!

It’s been such a rewarding one to work on over the course of a year, and I’m both chuffed to bits to see it finished and a bit sad that we’ve reached the end of it.

Joelle’s sleeve, completed over two and a half days back to back 🌱

A mix of existing and new tattoos, with the aim of bringing everything together into one patchwork composition across the arm.
A lot of drawing and tracing went into working out how the new elements could sit around what was already there, adjusting shapes and spacing as we went and making a few freehand decisions directly on the skin.

I really enjoyed seeing the arm slowly come together over those days. Very chuffed with how it all settled in the end.
