Full disclosure: I find filming myself excruciating…it literally hurts me in my heart 🖤

But Ive gotta try; because the things nobody explains properly are exactly the things you’re being sold.

Microneedling’s a good example so Ive tried to make it make sense rather than impress my nurse injector peers with all my technical knowledge and big words.

Think knife and fork! Your skin barrier keeps things out for a living so most of that serum never gets past the front door.

the needling is simply the way in.
No miracle it’s a mechanism being explained by a semi normal Brummie in a car next to a loaf of bread on the passenger seat 🤷🏽‍♀️

And yep, that’s her straight off the table on slide three. Red and a tad swollen but I had just put needles into her face so it isn’t a rarity.
Filters or makeup are usually used to disguise this part;
but as you know skin doesn’t lie and neither do I 👩🏽‍⚕️

A medical condition had affected her face.
She’d recovered showing remarkable bravery.
Her health was good and life was great; But her face had changed.
This sits at the intersection of medical aesthetics and clinical medicine in a way that requires real thought and as always a complete honesty about what was achievable and what wasn’t.

The under eye area and the neck are two of the most overlooked places in aesthetics.

Both show age early & Both respond beautifully to polynucleotides. Best part…….not because anything’s been added but because the skin’s been given what it needs to work properly again.
