NADA Acupuncturist, Somatic Trauma-Informed Coach & Therapist, Akashic Records Guide, Bioresonance Scans & Detox Protocols I am a crazy South African living in bonny Scotland with my hubby, two beautiful children, our foster Frenchie, and two guineas, Roro and Middy. I love people, ideas, playing and babies, (and chocolate cake.) Before my deeply transformational awakening in 2017, I was a journal

ist and owner of a community newspaper, running large-scale events alongside it. Since the awakening, I have been studying and practising Reiki, healing, and coaching and in 2019, I received my Acudetox Practitioner certificate, which is a game-changer for people suffering from anxiety, addiction, trauma and sleep disorders. We immigrated to the Netherlands in 2019 and again, 6 months later (during Covid-19) to beautiful Scotland. I worked, then abruptly didn't...
So I was thrown back into the world of self-employment and published my book, Break Those Damn Rules, an intimate journey of self-discovery and overcoming addiction. My scared little inner child, became triggered again and I anxiously worked myself into a frenzy, trying to find my anchor, my compass to guide me back home to self, but instead, I lost myself in the process and became everything to everyone, in the hopes of being accepted and validated. After experiencing burnout, twice, I became a certified Happiness Facilitator in 2022 and slowly started unhooking my own limiting self-beliefs. In October 2023 I took the final leap of faith and left the business world, to come back to helping individuals on their journey of self-discovery and self-love. I recently completed my Trauma-Informed and Hypnosis Training, which are fantastic tools to help my clients heal. I am intuitive in my healing and coaching sessions and will use a variety of tools to help my clients get unstuck and live the life they dream of. (I do work with the support of Spirit, so don't be surprised if one or two pop in for a session, wanting to work with you.) I love working with people who want to heal and increase their sense of joy, and have an affinity with young people who could do with some guidance, love and confidence. Not only do I use the tools that I have studied, but I also draw from my lived experiences which stem from childhood trauma, suicide, depression, addiction and a sense of displacement from immigration. I have intimate knowledge of dealing with people who are Neurodiverse and understand your superpowers. How I like to work, is start our session off with a Quantum Body Scan Analyser. You see, the secret is, our emotions, trauma and addiction is simply stuck energy, that has not been released. Yes, outside influences, such as the things we eat, drink, see, hear, feel, do and inhale will have impact our body, mind and spirit, but nothing compares to the emotions. The way we respond to the world around us, is what shows up in our organs. That is why I love working with the Quantum scan, so I can find out where you store your anger, frustration, fear, sadness and so on and then through the many tools at our disposal, together, we can help you to rid yourself of these toxins. So if you are ready and willing to make the changes, I am here to support you on your journey to belong and learn to love yourself completely.

The more I studied trauma and the nervous system, the more I realised something important:

Most people are not lacking motivation, but safety in the body.

You can give someone all the mindset tools in the world, but if their nervous system is exhausted, hyper-alert or stuck in survival mode, change becomes incredibly difficult to sustain.

That is why I created our Somatic Trauma-Informed NADA Acupuncture Training.

It is about understanding people differently.

Understanding why people:
• shut down
• overthink
• relapse
• struggle to rest
• stay stuck in patterns
• become disconnected from themselves

And more importantly, learning practical ways to help regulate the nervous system safely and compassionately.

This training combines:
• NADA Acupuncture
• Somatic trauma-informed approaches
• Nervous system education
• Group facilitation skills
• Practical tools you can integrate into your current work immediately

Perfect for therapists, coaches, recovery workers, holistic practitioners, support workers, wellbeing facilitators and humans who genuinely want to help people feel safer within themselves.

Most people working with trauma, anxiety, addiction, burnout, or overwhelm are still trying to solve nervous system problems with conversation alone.

But the body remembers what the mind tries to move on from.
That’s why I became trained in the NADA protocol.

This simple 5-point protocol changed my personality, and the most common feedback we would always receive is "Life-changing". It just works.

NADA is a simple but powerful auricular acupuncture protocol that helps regulate the nervous system, reduce anxiety and stress, improve sleep, support emotional regulation, and create a sense of calm and safety in the body.

I’ve now used it with thousand plus people, and the feedback is always similar:

“I finally feel calm.”
“My mind has gone quiet.”
“I feel like myself again.”

The best part?
You can now become trained too.

Next week, from Friday to Sunday in Perth, we are running our NADA Acupuncture Training at Pathfindercic, and there is ONE LAST SPACE available.

This is not just a weekend course where you leave with a certificate and no clue what to do next.

You will also receive:

✔ Somatic Trauma-Informed training
✔ Ongoing mentoring and business support
✔ A private community of like-minded practitioners
✔ A safe container to practice, ask questions, and receive feedback
✔ Support to start or grow your own business
✔ A full-year membership with additional learning and coaching opportunities

This training is ideal for:

• Coaches
• Therapists
• Recovery workers
• Wellness practitioners
• Nurses and support staff
• Yoga teachers
• Community leaders
• Anyone supporting people dealing with stress, trauma, addiction, anxiety, or burnout

Or simply those who know there must be a better way to help people feel safe in their bodies again.

Trauma-informed work is no longer optional, but essential.

And if you are already working with people, this work will change the way you support them forever. Think of it as becoming a HD version of what you are already offering or if you are starting out, it is not from scratch, but with a proven methodolgy that has been used for over 50 years in post-disaster trauma support after 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina through Acupuncturists Without Borders, in prisons, NHS-linked services, addiction recovery centres, behavioural health programmes, community trauma settings internationally and private health and wellness professionals who is looking for a tool that truly works from the root up.

Message me for details or comment NADA and I’ll reach out.

One practical thing every workplace can introduce immediately?

Transition time.

Most people move from one stressful task to another without giving their nervous system a single second to reset.

Before your next meeting, try this with your team:

• Both feet on the floor
• Relax your jaw
• Take one slower breath
• Look away from the screen for a moment
• Drop your shoulders

That’s it.

Small moments of regulation done consistently can completely change how people communicate, focus and respond under pressure.

A regulated team makes better decisions.
Simple as that.

How regulated is your staff?
Did you know that we offer Wellbeing sessions for staff? Ones that you can feel immediately. Email [email protected] to find out how we can support you and your team.

One of the reasons I love NADA acupuncture so much is because it works with the body instead of forcing the body.

Most people who come into our sessions are exhausted from carrying stress for too long.

Their nervous system has been in survival mode for months… sometimes years.

Then something interesting happens during NADA.

The shoulders soften.
The breathing slows.
The jaw unclenches.
People stop fidgeting.
Some people sleep deeply for the first time in ages.

Because the body finally gets a moment where it no longer feels like it has to stay on high alert.

NADA acupuncture has been used around the world to support people dealing with:
• anxiety
• overwhelm
• addiction recovery
• trauma
• emotional regulation
• sleep difficulties
• chronic stress
• burnout

And no, it doesn’t “fix” people overnight.

But it can help create the internal conditions where healing, clarity and regulation become possible.

Sometimes the body just needs support, remembering what safety feels like again.

One of the saddest things trauma does is convince good people that there is something fundamentally wrong with them, when in reality their nervous system simply adapted to an environment that did not feel safe.

That anxious mind, overthinking, people pleasing and even the emotional shutdown or constant need to stay busy? That is the brain becoming efficient at survival.

Neuroscience now shows us that trauma literally changes the nervous system. The brain becomes more focused on danger, threat and prediction. The amygdala becomes more reactive. Stress hormones stay elevated. The body learns to stay prepared.

Which means many traumatised people are not “too sensitive" but highly adapted.
The problem starts when the body continues protecting you long after the danger has passed.

This is why self-compassion matters.

Because many people are attacking themselves for patterns their nervous system developed to keep them alive.
How can you show more compassion for yourself?

We always love getting feedback from our clients. What has your experience been with NADA?

Years ago, I discovered NADA acupuncture at a point in my life where my nervous system was exhausted.

On the outside, I could still perform.
Inside, my body felt like it had forgotten how to fully relax.

What fascinated me was watching how quickly the body responds when it finally feels safe enough to let go for a moment.

That curiosity turned into years of studying trauma, nervous system regulation, somatic work and human behaviour.

Now we teach this work to others through our Somatic Trauma-Informed NADA Acupuncture Training.

This training is for people who want practical tools to support others dealing with anxiety, addiction, overwhelm, burnout and chronic stress.

You’ll learn:
• The 5 point NADA protocol
• Somatic trauma-informed approaches
• Nervous system regulation techniques
• Group work and practical application
• How to integrate this into your existing work or business

And because I know how vulnerable it can feel starting something new, we also include ongoing mentoring and support.

There is currently ONE spot left on 5-7 June in Perth.

Most people don’t realise how dysregulated they are until they sit still for five minutes and suddenly remember 47 things they forgot to panic about.

That’s exactly why we are hosting a LIVE online meditation session for World Meditation Day at 1PM.

No experience needed.
No pressure to “do it right.”
No need to sit cross-legged pretending you’ve transcended modern life.

Just a moment to pause, breathe and give your nervous system a break from constantly carrying the weight of everything.

Meditation has been shown to help with:
• stress and anxiety
• sleep
• emotional regulation
• focus and clarity
• calming the nervous system

At Pathfinder CIC, we work with people dealing with overwhelm, trauma, addiction and burnout every day, and one thing we know for certain is this:

A regulated nervous system changes how people experience life.
We’ll guide you through the session gently and practically.

If you can donate, amazing.
If you can’t, still come.

Suggested donation is £5 in support of NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation, who have supported the work we do in the community.

One of the things people misunderstand about trauma is that many traumatised people still function incredibly well.

They go to work, raise children and run businesses, looking "fine.”
Meanwhile, their nervous system is permanently braced for impact.
A lot of high performers learned very early that slowing down, resting or expressing emotion didn’t feel safe.

So the body adapts by becoming hyper-alert and often hyper-independent. Until eventually the body starts forcing the conversation through exhaustion, anxiety, burnout, sleep problems or emotional overwhelm.

This is why nervous system work matters.

Because understanding yourself changes the amount of shame you carry around behaviours you thought were personality flaws.
