Sunny weather ahead! have a wee look at Minds and Minds & Manes post for a few wee reminders :-)

Forecast is looking AMAZING this week 🔥🥵☀️. We will do as much water activities as we can this week to keep ponies and young people cool , we will also have the gazebo up for added shade .

🧴I do ask that people wear sun cream when visiting ( we do have some spare onsite just incase ), the hill can be even warmer and some times there is a good wind making it cooling but the sun is still as strong .

💦Please also remember to bring plenty of water , I will also try to keep bottles available .

🦄Due to the heat ponies will be closely monitored, if I feel it’s too warm for them they won’t be doing as many leading activities, and ponies may be returned to there field . This being said we will have as much fun as possible 🦄.

Remember they are Shetlands , so they ain’t designed for the extra heat 🥵🔥☀️🐴.

This is the last of our spaces available and then we are totally full 🦄💗.

If you have a young person that you think would enjoy our outdoor learning - a mix of fun , engaging , horsey based learning then you are in the right place .

The space and ethos created at Minds & Manes is seriously something special. Lots of work and endless chats and constant mindfully planned activities. For Alex to have her project steady strides recognised by the Scottish Executive for the positive outcomes that Equine Assisted Well-being can bring to people is not only well deserved for her unbelievably hard work. The recognition is also an important marker being pushed forward for Equine Assisted Services in Scotland as a whole.

Well done and congratulations Alex, We are so proud of what you are creating and providing!

Thanks to the amazing support from Perth and Kinross Countryside Trust and The National Lottery Community Fund Scotland we have made the paper for our amazing project ‘steady strides’ !.

I am absolutely over the moon and this means the world to me as Iv poured my heart and soul into minds and manes and every project / young person that’s crossed our paths in the last year and a 1/2 .

A massive thank you to everyone that’s supported our journey so far , can’t wait for may more years to come 🦄❤️💪.

Whilst our older learners concentrated on learning about equine behaviour, our younger learners played a game with the dice showing super teamwork and practice in turn taking
