Being the therapist doesn’t mean you’re always good at being the patient.
I’ve had knee pain for over two years and have seen various massage and sports therapists along the way. Since Kyla joined RMT, I’ve been sneaking onto her treatment couch whenever we have a gap—and today, for the first time in two years, my knee is pain-free.
As lovely as that feels, what’s impressed me most is watching her come into her own. She has embraced Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation with such enthusiasm, bringing structure, thought and growing confidence to her work. She’s asking questions, making connections and helping me spot habits in my working day that I’ve overlooked myself.
Our next step is looking at my posture and adjusting how I work, so I can put her advice into practice between treatments.
I knew Kyla would bring a lot to RMT. Getting to experience her care as a patient has made me appreciate her all the more. What a lovely woman to have alongside me as we develop RMT together. 💛

More than massage — it’s movement, recovery, and care.
