🎖🌺 The Veterans Cottage🌺🎖

At Simply CHC, we have worked with many veterans suffering not only from the physical implications of serving their country, but also the mental health difficulties established during and after their service. Many feel isolated, judged and are unable to access services required to sustain a healthy mindset.

The Veterans Cottage, based in Corby, Northamptonshire, assists veterans to access a wide range of services designed to support them through the transition from a soldier to a civilian lifestyle and beyond. They hold social events including BBQs and quiz nights and even, for those who enjoy a bit of pampering, well-being days with massages, meditation, and yoga!

To support their cause, they request a small donation of £1 a month which allows them to continue their fantastic work. If you can, please use the link below and support our veterans.

🥳Case Success - the story of Mr A🥳

We do not often share our success stories and we should. We are going to make a conscious effort to share our clients experiences in order to help others and show that there is hope in this awful process.

The CHC Team tried to knock this client at every stage, but Mr A's wife kept going. We knew he was entitled to full funding and eventually we were proved right at IRP NHS England.

We were engaged with this client from 2024. Mr A and his wife hold a special place in our hearts. Mr A is an amazing man who has gone through hell these last couple of years following a catastrophic stroke. It was honestly a pleasure to work with Mr A and his family. The strength they showed at every stage of this prolonged and emotionally draining process was admirable.
