Some key takeaways from this month not only consist of cleansing your stomach but also your soul. Therefore:

💷👵🏼 Give charity & be of service to others
😤😊 Abstain from that which may jeopardise your internal peace.

Self care is extremely important no matter your race, religion, age, gender and other factors. Be sure to take a break and observe your priorities. The worst feeling one can encounter is burnout. With a fast-pace moving society one can easily oversubscribe to things which may not necessarily support their wellbeing. So this month we challenge you to look into your commitments with a fine tooth comb. Evaluate your current priorities at hand and eliminate things that do not require your attention. Happy Ramadan 😊!

Today is World Book Day 📖 !

As we see children dress up as their favourite characters for school, don’t forget to pick up YOUR favourite book today!

There is always a book for everyone. With various topics that range from how-to’s, religious book, business & lifestyle etc. We are inundated with choices 📚

It is also fair to say there is quite the change in the digital era. We see people are moving over to Kindles and online books. But nothing compares to owning a physical library, the joy of turning each page following a collection of bookmarks (I currently have a napkin in mine, creative I know) 😁

Currently, at the office we are reading “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie.

Below we have listed a few tips on keeping your reading magical:

📕 Pick a book that interests you

📍 Pick a quiet spot with the least amount of distractions

⏱️ Put a timer on for 25 minutes to build flow

✏️ Underline your favourite quotes and information

🔖 Use a bookmark to stay on top of each page

🔎 Research further about the book online. Usually KeyNotes are readily available to delve deeper into topics
