🍂 CHEMICAL PEEL SEASON IS HERE 🍂

As we head into autumn, it’s the perfect time to start giving your skin a little extra attention.
Chemical peels work by gently exfoliating the skin, helping to remove dull, damaged surface cells and encouraging fresh, healthier-looking skin underneath.

So, what can a chemical peel help with?
1. Brighter, more radiant skin - Say goodbye to dull, tired-looking skin and hello to a fresher glow.

2. Pigmentation & uneven skin tone - Peels can help improve the appearance of sun damage, pigmentation and post-inflammatory marks.

3. Smoother skin texture - They can help refine uneven texture and reduce the appearance of enlarged pores.

4. Congestion & breakouts - Certain peels can help with excess oil, blocked pores and blemish-prone skin.

And the best part? Your peel can be tailored to your skin and your individual concerns, it’s not a one-size-fits-all treatment.

🍁 Autumn/Winter is a great time to start a course of peels, particularly as we have less intense UV exposure than during the summer months.
If your skin is feeling dull, congested, uneven or just not quite its best, a chemical peel could be exactly what it needs.

Want to know which peel would be right for your skin?
Send me a message to arrange a consultation.

I’m so excited (and a little nervous) to say that I’ll be running the London Marathon next year for Young Lives vs Cancer.

It’s such an amazing charity that do the most amazing work and I would love your help to raise as much as I can for them 🙏

When a child is diagnosed with cancer, the battle isn’t just medical. Families face emotional, financial and practical challenges every single day.
Young Lives vs Cancer makes sure no family has to face those challenges alone. Every donation helps provide support when it’s needed most.

£15 could help fund specialist social worker support for a family.

£60 could provide a free night’s stay in one of the charity’s Homes from Home near specialist hospitals.

£80 could help provide a financial grant to a family facing the extra costs of cancer.

Your donations can make a huge difference to a child and their family facing cancer and no matter how big or small, every donation is appreciated.

So please support me by following the link below and donating what you can, thank you ❤️❤️❤️

🚨New Treatment Alert🚨
CRYOTHERAPY

What is it?
Cryotherapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses a precise jet of extreme cold to freeze and destroy unwanted skin lesions/blemishes.
The cold temperature targets the affected tissue while minimising damage to the surrounding healthy skin.

As the treated tissue breaks down, the body’s natural healing process works to remove it, allowing healthier skin to emerge over the following days or weeks.

Cryotherapy can be used to treat:
✓ Skin tags
✓ Warts
✓ Verrucas
✓ Age spots/Pigmentation
✓ Seborrhoeic keratoses
✓ Other benign skin lesions (following assessment)

Why choose Cryotherapy?
✔ Quick treatment sessions
✔ Minimal discomfort
✔ No cutting or stitches required
✔ Precise targeting of lesions
✔ Minimal downtime
✔ Suitable for many common skin concerns

If you’re interested in Cryotherapy and want more information, send us a DM or contact us on 07595719302.

One of the biggest myths in aesthetics is that the same treatment plan works for everyone.

The reality?
Your skin changes with every decade, and so should your approach.

In Your 30s: PRESERVATION.
This is the decade of preserving what you already have.

✔️ Maintaining collagen production
✔️ Preventing deeper lines from forming
✔️ Improving skin quality and hydration
✔️ Protecting against environmental damage

Common treatments:
• Anti-wrinkle treatments
• Skin boosters
• Medical-grade skincare
• Microneedling
• Collagen-stimulating treatments

The Goal: Maintain and Protect.

In Your 40s: RESTORATION
This is when collagen loss, volume loss, and skin laxity often become more noticeable.

✔️ Restoring facial support
✔️ Improving skin firmness
✔️ Softening deeper lines
✔️ Enhancing facial contours
✔️ Addressing changes in skin texture

Common treatments:
• Anti-wrinkle treatments
• Dermal fillers (where appropriate)
• Skin-tightening treatments
• Collagen stimulators
• Advanced skin rejuvenation procedures

The Goal: Restore and Support.

In Your 50s+: REJUVENATION
At this stage, treatment plans often focus on the face as a whole rather than individual lines or features.

✔️ Improving skin quality and elasticity
✔️ Restoring structural support
✔️ Addressing volume changes
✔️ Creating balance and harmony
✔️ Achieving natural looking rejuvenation

Common treatments:
• Collagen stimulators
• Skin-tightening technologies
• Strategic volume restoration
• CO2 laser and skin rejuvenation treatments
• Comprehensive treatment plans combining multiple approaches

The Goal: Rejuvenate and Refresh.

The best aesthetic treatments aren’t determined by age alone, they’re determined by your skin, your anatomy, and your goals.

Because looking good isn’t about looking younger.
It’s about looking healthy, confident, and like yourself at every stage of life.

Which decade are you in?

SPF Mistakes Almost Everyone Makes…

You’re wearing your SPF, but are you wearing it correctly?

Here are the biggest SPF mistakes I see all the time:

❌ Applying too little
Most people use only 25–50% of the amount needed for proper protection. For your face and neck, aim for around two finger lengths of suncream.

❌ Only applying it once a day
SPF isn’t a one-and-done product. Reapply every 2 hours when outdoors, and after swimming, sweating, or towel drying.

❌ Saving SPF for sunny days
Up to 80% of UV rays can pe*****te clouds. UV damage happens year-round, even when it’s overcast.

❌ Forgetting key areas
Ears, eyelids, lips, neck, chest, hands and feet are often missed but show signs of sun damage quickly.

❌ Relying on makeup with SPF
SPF in foundation or moisturiser is a bonus, not your main protection. You’d need to apply far more product than most people use to get the correct amount of coverage.

❌ Thinking darker skin doesn’t need SPF
While melanin offers some natural protection, everyone can experience sun damage, hyperpigmentation, and skin cancer.

The best anti-ageing product isn’t expensive serum after expensive serum, it’s consistent daily SPF.

Do you apply yours correctly??

Melanoma changed more than just my skin.

It changed how I look at my health, how I listen to my body, and how I value the little things I once took for granted.

Some days I barely think about it. Other days I might be caught off guard and I’ll be in floods of tears.

If you’ve been putting off getting a mole checked, please book the appointment.
Map My Mole is available with me at Beautiful Aesthetics and I couldn’t recommend the service more.

And if you’re navigating melanoma yourself, know that you’re not alone❤️
