This season always invites reflection… and my heart is so full as I look back on this year with Cariad.
Many of you will know that it’s been another quieter year on social media - not because Cariad has been overly quiet, but because I have been pouring my energy into study, growth, planning and holding space for each of you who walks through my door.

Those who know me, as your Holistic Therapist or as a friend, know how deeply committed I am to growing both personally and professionally. Every new skill, every moment of learning, every decision made for Cariad has one intention at its core:

🙌 I will never become complacent - even after over 16 years in practice, I will always continue to learn, refine and grow.

Sahara Desert Trek – My Toughest & Biggest Challenge Yet!!

In November 2025 it will be 5 years since the passing of my beautiful Mum, it will also have been her 76th birthday. To celebrate/honour her and to raise vital funds for the Alzheimer’s Society with Global Adventure Challenges. I'll be trekking for 4 days in one of the most breathtaking and largest deserts in the world – the Sahara! It will not be a holiday, it will be hot, there will be long days trekking, sleeping under canvas, as well as sand dunes and storms in this beautiful but tough ever-changing landscape.

Crazy – maybe?! Excited – ABSOLUTELY!!

Many of you know that my little mum passed from Alzheimer’s Disease, what most of you don’t know is how much dementia has been tearing through that side of the family. My great grandmother, grandfather, two uncles and potentially my aunt. Complex Alzheimer’s stripped my witty and stunning mumma bear of all of her personality, ability to talk, look after herself, maintain relationships, her dignity, her memories of her whole life and recognition of some of the most important people in it. It didn’t stop there - it took her completely, there was no timeline, there was no cure, she did not get better. She went to the very end of line where there was nothing left cognitively at all.

I ask if you can please support me with this challenge and donate (no matter how small or how big) to help find a cure and research into this cruel and horrible disease. It's too late for my little mum but not for yours, your loved ones or maybe even yourself.

s many of you know, I am a keen hiker and I am currently away in the Scottish Highlands visiting friends and having some adventures. I have extended my stay and Cariad will be closed until the 10th June.

Around 50 of us will share this new space together as we move, dance, embody socialise, heal & express.

You’ll be greeted with a refreshing medicinal herbal brew or superfood lemon & ginger shot on arrival as you feel into the evenings energy.

& Dj Lee are honoured to hold the main space within an informal ‘5Rhythms’ style movement and sober dance session.

Whether you feel called to play interact and have fun, let off some steam in a solo stomp, cry, rage, flow, shake, rave or even roll around - this is a safe space and container for you to move and express in the way of your own truth in each moment.

All bodies & emotions welcome. This is an inclusive space & access friendly venue

There’ll be optional light ceremonial Cacao … the incredible heart opening plant medicine and elixir - in support.

The main movement sessions will close with stillness, meditation & integration.

Then you’re invited to ground & relax with a plant based food share & social to end the eve.
