What started as a passing comment from a Richard Barnes Academy Year 9 learner about Mr Fletcher’s “lack of hair” quickly turned into something much bigger!
A deal was made — if he could raise £150 for Prostate Cancer UK, then once he completed his YDP Barbering course, he would be allowed to shave my head.
On the last day of term before the half-term break, the challenge finally happened — and we think he did a fantastic job!
Not only has he raised money for an incredible cause, but this has also given RBA students a brilliant opportunity to showcase the positive work they can do and the skills they’ve developed through their work with Mario from YDP.
