☀️ 5 TOP TIPS TO PROTECT YOUR HEELS THIS SUMMER 🦶

1️⃣ Moisturise daily – ideally with a urea-based heel balm to help keep the skin soft and hydrated. is my go to!

2️⃣ Don’t pick or peel hard skin – tempting as it may be! This can cause soreness, cracks and even breaks in the skin.

3️⃣ Think about your footwear – constantly wearing open-back shoes or flip-flops can leave your heels dry and unsupported.

4️⃣ File your heels gently – preferably after a shower or bath when the hard skin has softened. Remember, gentle is key!

5️⃣ Don’t ignore persistent cracked or hard skin – if it’s painful, bleeding or keeps coming back, get your feet checked by a foot health professional.
