I ummed and ahhed over putting this reel together. I didn’t want it to come across as 5 minutes of massaging my own ego. But I actually enjoyed this trip down memory lane and pulling out some old photos from the last 20 years (gulp)

I always get a lot of customers thinking I was a tattooer or am still a tattooer… that I never have been 😂 People seem to take an interest in how I ended up doing what i do now. So here’s a very encapsulated version. Let me know below if you’d like more content like this in the comments. Please be kind! 😂

Great clearance on this one! We’re leaving extra time between sessions to make sure we get maximum clearance.

The roses on the forearm are a cover-up, it’s cool to see how much a cover-up impacts the rate of removal. You can see how much darker it is than the rest of the arm!

We’re going for complete removal on this and we’re probably just over halfway realistically.

This one is a special one for me.

This lady first came to us asking to remove these freckles and my instant response was “I can’t help, sorry!” But after speaking to her and being able to see how much they affected her self confidence left me me feeling like we had to try.

For those not in the know… this is not a skin type that you can easily and safely treat cosmetic pigments with redder tones. Risks of hypopigmentation are through the roof and I just cannot take that risk on someone’s face… well… most of the time! Getting the Candela Picoway made this a lot more achievable.

This lady is the ideal customer though, she did everything I asked and more. Getting to see her photos of her today absolutely beaming definitely brought a tear to my eye. I will be sad when our journey together ends but feel like I’ve made a friend for life ❤️

We’re looking for a part-time manager to join us at JHB Tattoo Removal!

The hours would ideally be around 9am–1pm, Tuesday to Saturday, although we can be a little flexible for the right person.

The role would include opening up and getting the clinic ready in the morning, keeping the space clean and tidy, replying to emails, helping with social media, ordering supplies and greeting customers.

More than anything, we’re looking for someone who gets along with us and feels like a good fit for the space. You’ll need to be friendly, reliable and happy to get stuck in, but you don’t necessarily need any previous experience.

Maybe you’re looking for part-time work, trying to get your own business off the ground and want to be around likeminded individuals or simply need some extra income alongside something else. We’re open to hearing from anyone!

It’s a fun, creative and welcoming place to work, and we’d love to find someone who adds something to the space while hopefully getting something positive from being here too!

We’re so excited to have joining us this July!

We’ve been working with Amber for the last few months with microneedling over Tattoo removal. The results have shown greatly improved skin texture, quicker reduction of hyperpigmentation & just generally helping along the fade of the tattoos!

Amber will be running all of the same services that she does now from her private clinic but this just means we’ll be able to work more cohesively and offer more skin treatments in the future going forward! Watch this space 👀

keep your eyes peeled because over the Next couple of months I’ll be posting loads about the renovation and showing you guys how the new space looks and listing of all of the new services that we’re offering!
