This time tomorrow we'll be hosting our Information Evening at The hair bothy, 46a High Street, Inverurie.

Come along, meet the team, find out more about who we are, what we do, and hear about our exciting plans for Inverurie.

This session is open to everyone aged 18+, so bring along a mate, a parent, a sibling, or anyone else you'd like to join you.

Whether you're looking for support, want to learn more, or simply fancy a chat, you'll be made very welcome.

Yesterday we had the opportunity to visit The Nook by SAMH in Marischal Square, in Aberdeen city centre, and all we can say is... WOW!

They have created such an incredible, welcoming space for anyone looking for mental health support. The centre is open 7 days a week from 10am–4pm and offers a safe, friendly drop-in service for those who need it.

One thing we were especially delighted to learn is that they can support young people aged 10 and over. This is such an important service and something that is so greatly needed within our communities.

If you're in Aberdeen, we highly recommend popping in to see the amazing space they've created and finding out more about the fantastic support they offer.

A huge well done to everyone involved in making this happen! 👏

Tonight, we're delighted to welcome Fraser Morgan, who'll be joining us to perform a live set and share his personal story.

This evening is open to all guys, come along, enjoy some great live music, hear an inspiring story, and spend time in good company.

Today we had the absolute pleasure of visiting Johnston Carmichael Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers in Aberdeen, where we were presented with an incredible cheque for £4,525! 🎉💙

We are truly overwhelmed by the generosity, effort and support shown throughout the year. The team raised this amazing amount through raffles, bake sales, hampers, taking part in the Kiltwalk, and they even slimed their bosses! 🤣

Every penny raised will help us continue supporting those who need us most, and we couldn't be more grateful.

A huge thank you to everyone at Johnston Carmichael who donated, organised, participated and cheered each other on along the way. Your kindness, enthusiasm and commitment have made such a difference, and we feel incredibly honoured to have been chosen as your Charity of the Year.

And we would like to say a special thank you to Amiee Henderson for putting our name forward, without you this would never of happened 🥰.

💛 Loneliness Awareness Week 💛

Loneliness doesn't always look like being alone. Sometimes it's the smile that hides the struggle, the silence after "I'm fine," or the feeling that no one would understand.

In the UK:
🔹 1 in 4 adults experience loneliness some or all of the time.
🔹 82% of people have felt lonely at some point in their lives.
🔹 61% of those who have experienced loneliness have never told anyone.
🔹 1 in 8 adults have had suicidal thoughts or feelings linked to loneliness.

Loneliness and mental health are closely connected, but a simple conversation can make all the difference.

This week, take a moment to check in with a friend, family member, neighbour or colleague. A message, a phone call or a cup of tea could be exactly what someone needs.

Don't Man Up, Speak Up.

Together, we can break the stigma, build stronger connections and remind every man that he doesn't have to face life's challenges alone. 💙

‼BANFF INFORMATION EVENING‼

Just a reminder that our Information Evening takes place tonight at Banff Castle, Castle Street, Banff. We are going to be on the ground floor in the main building for easy access.

🚪 Doors open just before 7pm.

Everyone over 18 is welcome – male or female – so grab a friend, your partner, mum, dad, granny... whoever you'd like, and come along!

The evening will be very informal, giving you the chance to find out:

Some of you may have seen the post from Peterhead Central School yesterday about their playground desperately needing a makeover.

Well... we're delighted to say that Men United have stepped up and taken on the project! 💙

Now we're asking our amazing community to get behind us and help make this happen.

We're looking for donations of:

🎨 Paint
🪵 Decking
🖌️ Wood stain
🧰 Tools and materials
🙌 Volunteers/businesses willing to give a few hours of their time

No donation is too small. Whether you can provide materials, lend a hand, or simply share this post, every bit of support will help us create a safer, brighter and more enjoyable place for local children to play.
