Just a reminder that Buchanhaven Pharmacy will be closed on Monday 15th June for the bank holiday.

Please make sure you order and collect any prescriptions you may need in advance to avoid running short over the long weekend.

Ramipril 2.5mg capsules manufactured by Crescent Pharma Limited are being recalled as a precautionary measure (Batch Number GR155023)

Some cartons of Ramipril 2.5mg capsules may contain blister packs of Ramipril 10mg capsules

Ramipril is used to treat high blood pressure, heart failure and kidney disease. Taking a higher dose than prescribed is expected to lower blood pressure further and quicker making it important to act promptly.

🔎what to check
Check the blister strips inside your Ramipril 2.5mg cartons. The correct strips should be labelled “2.5mg” and contain light green and light grey capsule marked with “R” on the cap and 2.5 on the body
