A lip flip isn’t about making lips bigger… it’s about improving balance 💉

Not everyone wants (or needs) dermal filler.

By carefully relaxing a small part of the muscle around the upper lip, a lip flip can allow more of your natural lip to show when your face is at rest and when you smile.

For the right patient, it can:
- Enhance the natural shape of the upper lip

Lifting the corners of the mouth - subtle, but effective 🤍

A small treatment can make a beautiful difference, helping to create a softer, more refreshed appearance while maintaining natural expression.

I’ve been a little quieter on social media recently, but that’s because my focus has been where it should be, in clinic.

Treating patients, continuing my education, refining my skills, and working behind the scenes to grow Dr Demi Medical Aesthetics.

For me, patient satisfaction will always come first and I’m incredibly grateful for the trust my patients place in me every day.

Anti-wrinkle treatments are incredible, but they’re only one part of the picture.

If you choose this route, supporting your skin is essential.

I often tell my patients to keep things simple with skincare and follow ABC:

A - Vitamin A (retinol)
B - Broad spectrum SPF (daily)
C - Vitamin C (antioxidant support)

This is because I’m an evidence-based girly 💁🏼‍♀️👩🏼‍⚕️ and there is strong evidence supporting the role of SPF, retinoids and muscle-relaxing treatments in maintaining skin quality and softening lines over time. Anything else is an add-on treatment which can then be introduced depending on your individual goals, for example laser treatment, biostimulation, and medical-grade skincare products.

May appointments are already filling quickly, so if you know you’ll be due a top-up soon, or you’re planning ahead for Summer treatments, now is the perfect time to get in touch.

The next few months are particularly busy for me as I continue working within the emergency department on a demanding rota. As always, I’ll do my absolute best to accommodate you wherever I can.
