Eddies is a family run business established in 1985 following the demise of the coal industried in County Durham, which forced 3 million nationwide out of work and onto the dole. Eddie was lucky to have had many years of tattooing experience and so he strived to do the only thing he knew - tattooing! He ploughed all of his redundancy payment into purchasing the premises he is still in today - 30 y

ears on. Here's a bit about the team:-

Eddie (The Boss)
With over 50 years of tattooing experience to his credit, Eddie can build or restore any tattoo machine, create bespoke designs, in fact, do anything relating to the tattoo industry! Trudy - Studio Manager & Laser Technician
Trudy is responsible for the smooth running of the studio, booking appointments, ordering stock, general hygiene and cleaning, and keeping all of our customers happy by supplying gallons of tea, coffee and banter! Trudy is also now fully qualified and licenced for tattoo removals. Contact the studio for more information. Shannon - Tattooist
Our newest and third generation member of the Eddie's Tattoo Studio Crew. Shannon is Eddie's grand-daughter, and after successfully completing her apprenticeship, has now become the full time artist in residence. No walk ins, tattoos are by appointment only. Deposit needs to be left to secure booking due to time wasters.

❌LOCKDOWN 3 - PLEASE READ❌
We had a feeling this was coming and this was the reason We held off for so long opening the diary for new bookings. All we can do is apologise again to everybody booked in for January and February. We feel awful as we know a lot of you were cancelled back in the November lockdown😔 I’m hoping we can start rearranging all cancelled appointments from March 2021 🤞🏻 but until we are given a clarified, set in stone date to return to work I will not be rescheduling any appointments. We understand (more than anyone) how frustrating this is, all we want is to be back to work! All deposits are not lost and will simply be transferred to your new date - whenever that may be! If anyone may find themselves in financial hardship during lockdown, please don’t hesitate to message us and we will arrange a refund of your deposit. Please be patient with us, we will be in touch with everybody as soon as we have more clarity! Until then, thank you all sooooo much, once again for being amazing and super understanding throughout one crazy year! Stay safe and look after each other ❤️

Well as from today, the shutters come down & its another sad 4 weeks for ourselves & all none essential businesses. This year has certainly taken it's toll on so many levels.
1st lockdown was hard enough, this 2nd lockdown will have a huge impact on peoples lives, finacially & mentally, it will also affect so many businesses - sadly some not able to recover, ending in closure.
All customers who are booked in for December, see you then.... as long as lockdown isn't extended.

Here we go again! Lockdown take 2 🎬☹️🤦🏻‍♀️
We’re sure most of you are well aware of the governments latest announcement. Unfortunately due to this, the studio’s last working day will be Wednesday 4th November. We’re working our way through contacting all of our clients who are booked in from Thursday 5th November - Wednesday 2nd December to reschedule appointments.
All customers deposits will not be lost, just simply transferred to your new given date. If anyone who should have a deposit in place & finds themselves in any financial hardship during these times, We are fully considerate of certain positions people will be in, and more than willing to refund your deposit! We need to help each other out as best we can more than ever!
We will keep all of you in the loop and if you haven’t received a message yet, don’t worry, you will very soon! But please be patient, I’m sure you can appreciate we have been in-undated with messages, if you haven’t heard from us, please feel free to drop us another message.
We feel so bad for all those who have waited patiently for their appointments & also those who have deposits in place awaiting any cancellations, but sadly it’s completely out of our control, as most of you are aware from returning back to work the studio is locked all day (keeping the customer, ourselves & our families safe), everything has been governed by appointment only, the studio is a clinical, sterile, safe environment, everything used is disposable, & we have all ppe measures in place. There’s been no evidence whatsoever of any positive results from our studio - but what Boris says we have to adhere to 😷
