little update from me… 💜

I was really hoping I’d be back running Sound Baths in August, but my knee has other ideas! 😅 It’s healing, just much more slowly than I’d hoped, so I’ve made the decision to give it the time it needs rather than rushing back too soon.

Apparently hamstrings and knees can be surprisingly slow and tricky things to heal, so I’m trying to be patient and let my body recover properly rather than pushing it before it’s ready.

The photo I’m sharing was actually quite a milestone. It’s the first time I’ve managed to get back down onto the floor since I injured my knee. Getting back up again… well, let’s just say it wasn’t quite so graceful! 😂 But every little step feels like progress.

The upside is I haven’t been sitting around doing nothing! I recently completed Part 2 of my Singing Bowl Practitioner training, and I’m so excited to bring everything I’ve learned into future sessions. Every course deepens my understanding, and I can’t wait to share that with you all when I’m back.

I’ll also be carrying out some case studies over the next couple of months as part of my continued development. Once I’m a little more mobile, I’ll be looking for a few willing volunteers, so if that sounds like something you’d enjoy, keep an eye on this page. 😊

For now, my focus is on healing, following my physio’s advice, and trusting that I’ll be back when the time is right.

💜 A Little Update from Me 💜

Last Saturday I spent the evening doing something I absolutely love—dancing, surrounded by such a wonderful, magical community. Unfortunately, that evening ended with a knee injury, and it’s going to take a little time to heal.

After a lot of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision not to run any SoundBaths during July.

As much as I’d love to be back creating beautiful sound experiences, I know I need to give my body the chance to recover properly. If I always encourage others to listen to their bodies, then it’s only right that I do the same.

So, for the next few weeks, I’ll be trying to embrace the stillness and patience that healing requires… although, if I’m honest, I’d much rather just be back to full health! 😊

The good news is that I fully intend to be back in August, refreshed and ready to welcome you all back.

Thank you so much for all the kind messages, offers of help, and well wishes over the past few days. They have genuinely meant so much to me. 💜

Take care of yourselves, and I’ll see you all in August.

Last night I experienced my first Solstice Gong Puja — an all-night journey of sound, stillness, rest and reflection.

Surrounded by beautiful gongs, singing bowls, chimes and a wonderful community, I spent the night immersed in vibration and sound as we welcomed the Summer Solstice.

I’m feeling grateful, inspired and reminded of the incredible power of sound to help us slow down, connect and simply be.

What a beautiful way to honour the longest day of the year. ✨🎶🌞

Sometimes the simplest mornings are the ones that stay with you the longest ☕🌿
Coffee steaming, birds singing, toast disappearing, and the garden slowly waking up around me… although the cat screeching in the background didn’t sound quite as calm. 😹

🌍✨ World Meditation Day ✨🌍

Today feels extra special to me… because it also marks 125 days since I began my morning meditation journey. 💜

In that time, I’ve only missed a handful of days — and even then, I still found space to pause and reconnect in the evening instead. That alone has shown me that meditation isn’t about perfection… it’s about intention, presence, and gently returning to yourself.

Meditation and sound healing have become such an important part of my wellbeing. They help me quiet the noise, regulate my energy, reduce stress, and carry a sense of calm into everyday life.

Creating these SoundBath experiences through Ovenden Creations & Wellness has allowed me to share that feeling with others — a safe space to breathe, rest, reset and simply be. ✨
