Making North Norfolk more Accessible.
The Norfolk Charitable Trust (NCT) is dedicated to making their local coastal environment accessible to the disabled, their families and carers.
They have removed the barriers that prevent disabled people from enjoying the wellbeing benefits of access to North Norfolk's seascape and it's natural history. Making everyone feel healthy, safe & welcome and bringing people together.

Volunteer Recruitment Day Sunday June 21st -
10am to 5pm

Accessible Boating Thames (ABT) is a local charity that aims to take people with disabilities onto the River Thames in their accessible boats. For more information on the charity see https://accessibleboatingthames.org

We are looking for volunteers with experience in power boating, sailing or paddling, or in fact no experience at all to come and join us running sessions for families, groups and local SEND school classes. We run regular training and familierisation sessions during the season (April – October)

Because of the range of activities we provide
• Bellboating
• Wheeyboat Trips
• Sailing

We have many volunteering opportunities, both on the water and on shore including Shore support, paddling, sailing and power boating.

During the day we will have all our boats on the water and some volunteers to explain what we do and how we do it.

So if you are interested in volunteering for us and have a few hours to spare to help out with the activities we run for disabled participants and their families / friends please come along and meet us, just follow the signs to Bisham Abbey Sailing and Navigation School once inside the sports centre.

For fuller directions to the site please follow the link to https://accessibleboatingthames.org/find-us/
