The time has come where I want to be closer to home, Saltash. To all my lovely clients that have supported me from Albert Road and Estover - I sincerely thank you with all of my heart. Some of you may wish to visit me over the water and others not. I understand with the longer journey as I do it daily 😊

Nothing has been set in stone as I’m yet to find a suitable room for hire in Saltash. This is me being honest with you about my intentions.

I understand that some of you may find other therapists before I leave Plymouth Wellbeing Centre and that’s ok, just message me to cancel your appointment. Others may wish me to refer on to other therapists within the centre and I will help you with that.

If any of you know of anywhere in Saltash that you think might be suitable for me, then please let me know.

It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to leave PWC but the time has come where I want to be a part of the community where I live.

Coaching and Wellbeing Groups will slowly migrate to online.

I hope you all understand my decision, after all nothing stays the same forever. Life is fluid and our journey is never a straight one.

May - a new month

Lets begin the month of May with self-compassion. This is so important as we all get to the point where we are hard on ourselves. So hard in fact that we wouldn't talk to our best friends the way we talk to ourselves.

How can we have more self-compassion?

It all begins with awareness, we need to start noticing when we are hard on ourselves without good reason. This months journal prompts will highlight your awareness if you write them out. No pressure, just let it flow. If you don't know what to write, then write "I don't know what to write", ease in to the prompts gently, without judgement and something will appear for you to write.

Some prompts may make you feel emotional, that's OK, ease back and don't force yourself through it. If the prompts are difficult for you to write about, then don't do it. You can always revisit it another day. Again, hold no judgement.

So let's start with today's prompt:
How do you usually speak to yourself when things feel difficult?

NB, if you want more prompts for journaling your thoughts, feeling and emotions, then comment PROMPT below.

BUSINESS UPDATES

From 1st April there will be a price increase (which I’m still calculating) per service. For most, it will be less than £5.

From 1st April, due to home commitments, I will no longer be working on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons with my days off being Thursdays and Sundays. Although these will be days off from treatments they are still not days off for me. I still have stock to order and update, accounts, CPD courses and all the other admin that go along with running a fully booked business.

I am not taking on any new clients with immediate affect. Please be assured that any gift vouchers will of course still be honoured for new people to redeem.
This is due to your incredible support and loyalty to me for which I will be eternally grateful. However, you have made me so busy that it’s difficult to sustain 😉

Please make sure your bookings are organised well in advance as the ‘squeezing you in’ is no longer a viable option. At present there is limited availability until June and some August dates are already fully booked.

Last year I did organise taking on a member of staff to help me, but due to last minute health diagnosis it didn’t come to fruition. So this year I’ve taken the decision to close my books to new clients for the foreseeable future until my workload becomes more manageable for one (yep me 😉) apart from that I’m forgetting what my dog looks like.

Again, I would like to thank you for your continued support as I wouldn’t have a business without you.

Much love
