After a successful Open Day in November, Devon Mental Health Alliance and Plymouth Mental Health Collective are opening the doors again for Plymouth adults to better understand the mental health supports available in your area.

💚 Free event, open from 12pm-4pm. Come along and meet our friendly staff who can help you find the right support for you

🩵 Explore 50 stalls from a mix of organisations and community groups supporting better mental health in Plymouth

💛 Co-produced with Experts by Experience, ensuring those with lived experience are involved in every stage of the process including, planning, design and managing the event on-the-day

It was great to meet with the Frequent Users Support and Empowerment (FUSE) team recently.

FUSE offer support to people who attend A&E frequently – five or more times a year. Staff work with individuals to look at their life more holistically and identify where they can get better help and support in the community, whether its support finding employment, treatment for substance abuse and anything in between.

It was fantastic to hear about their many success stories, supporting people in our city, but also reducing the strain on our hospital and hardworking NHS staff – they are doing incredible work.

Yesterday, we met with to help them pick up the litter around Laira. Together, we managed to fill eight bin bags, and we even found a 25 year old can of Cola!
