☀️ Why We Can’t Tattoo Sunburnt Skin ☀️

With the weather we’ve been having, we’ve had a few people turning up with sunburn and unfortunately we can’t tattoo over sunburnt skin.

Sunburn damages and inflames the skin, making it:
❌ More painful to tattoo
❌ Difficult for the ink to settle properly
❌ More likely to heal badly
❌ At a higher risk of infection and complications

For the best results, your skin needs to be fully healed before your appointment. If you’ve caught too much sun, please let us know as soon as possible and we’ll be happy to rearrange your session.

Summer’s finally here and we’re fully booked up with people getting fresh ink 🔥

Just a little reminder before your appointment — if you’re badly sunburnt, we may not be able to tattoo the area. Tattooing over sunburnt skin can cause:
• Poor healing
• Patchy ink/results
• More pain and irritation
• Increased risk of infection

Please keep your skin protected before your session — sun cream is your best mate this time of year 😎

Tattooing is something I’m passionate about and I take pride in giving every customer quality work and a good experience from start to finish. Whether it’s your first tattoo or you’re adding to a collection, I’ll work with you to create something you’re happy wearing for life.

I cover a range of styles including black & grey, fine line, traditional, custom pieces and cover ups. We offer a clean professional studio, friendly atmosphere and proper attention to detail on every tattoo.
