Closing a chapter.
After nearly nine years at Faraday Mill — and almost five years of owning and running the studio — this Friday will be our last day in the space.
When i first walked into this unit, I couldn’t have imagined what it would become. What started as just a workspace grew into something that shaped me — as an artist, as a business owner, and as a person.
I have absolutely grafted here. I have took risks here. I have learned hard lessons here.
And eventually, i had the privilege of calling it mine. But i didnt do it alone i have had a brilliant loyal team that have been with me for years. Kelvin Pashby Daisy May you guys have helped me incredibly and i thank you for joining me on this journey.
But what truly made this place special was you.
Every person who trusted us with their skin.
Every story shared across the chair.
Every returning client who became more like family than customer.
You built this with us. You gave it life.
We won’t be coming back to Faraday Mill after Friday — and that’s emotional. But it’s also the start of something new.
While our new studio in west park is being finished (and we honestly can’t wait to show you what’s coming), we’ll be working temporarily from Invictus ink in devonport. I want to thank Elliot Priest for giving us this lifeline! Same energy. Same passion. Just a different space for now.
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for nine unforgettable years in Faraday mill.
Here’s to the next chapter. End of an Era😅
