Single Cards 💫
🌟
A Great insight into our daily lessons, our own motives and those of the motives from others around us. Potential and potentialities. An easily defined visual overview, that can help to see the energy that encompasses our thoughts, words and actions.
🌟
A guiding force in steering and moving us in the right direction. Single cards can provide consistent motivation. A sense of reassurance when isolated. To see signs within the daily message can help in facing things head on. Things that also may go unseen within a reading that spans a longer period of time are now more prominent.
🌟
An open mind and a willing heart has a wider and more accurate perspective. The energy of focusing on single cards are heightened due to the immediate request of Guidance for the day ahead. This usually covers exactly 24 hours from the time of laying question to the Tarot.
🌟
An amazing practice for individuals that are tackling monumental tasks or seeking clarity within any current situation where answers are sought and required. In doing so, to then overcome and succeed and move through, at whatever level of positivity or progress is needed. Thanks for listening!

🧙‍♂️ Musing on Magic :

Magic is not what You think. Magic in its sense of proportion to the physical body and the unconscious, is what You ‘Behold.’ Wether it is an intuitive understanding of a deeper connection to the subconscious or by receiving a steady stream of information brought forth, through, connecting to the vast expanse of electrical energy that is ever present within a grid like structure of infinite equations laid out by an eternal machine.

You can not quantify or explain magic and it’s immeasurable dimensions. Dimension, meaning, each individual perception attached to it, realisation, measure, record, statistic, its reference, point of origin, function, appearance or its future impact on both the human psyche and humanity as a whole.

There are gaps in historical content which remain ‘unbridged’. From Ancient Civilisations to Modern Contemporary Icons. There are also figure heads and scapegoats linked to the rise and fall of Magic and it’s counter parts. High Magic, Low Magic, Light Magic, Dark Magic, S*x Magic, Folk Lore Magic, Magic of Magi and Sages, Wizards and Witches. We have seen Enochian Magic, Lemurian Magic, Alexandrian Magic, whatever your ‘lean to’ Magic is. There is a word for it. What we do know is that culture itself has had a major impact on the way Magic has travelled. Mostly attained by the wealthy or attracted to and by the privileged. It has been harnessed and exploited and also condemned through the Ancient Witch Trials.

From mass migrations during and after the Roman era, mainly after, the infused teachings of peoples from France, Belgium, Germany and higher regions of Europe coincided with a more Anglo-Saxon approach. Settlers scattered toward Northern Territory, and across to Wales, Midlands, London and South toward Cornwall. As the latter part of the century ensued, so did power and land dominance, with the threat mainly enforced by the Danes, Nords and ultimately The Vikings. There was a unified front that offered resistance, thus England becoming unruly in places with the ever burdening presence of ‘Unruly Folk’ that would hurl ‘incantation’ and ‘damned art’ at the Nobles in an attempt to reclaim land and push the oppression out, for fear of false leadership and the accusation that the establishments was against the best interest of the people.

This is all relative to a point, as the mixing and widespread influence of these varying cultures brought with them strong beliefs. We see the rise of tempered nails being forged to put in chimneys to ward off the devil, coin bending and entrail reading of deceased animals, wax effigies and poppit dolls etc etc. To some it was magic, others, religion and to the majority a strange way of acting upon ‘intuition’. Self proclaimed professionals and representatives to medicine increased the practice of being ‘cunning’ in their ways of remedy. Magic was serviced, bought and sold to produce a sense of hope to some, and a curse to others. Talismans were created to ‘infuse’ astrology and pseudo-science with medicine as ‘actual divine assistance’. What an interesting collaboration.

There was a surge in the seeking of, and ownership of ancient texts and documents. Mainly during Anglo periods. Old English and Latin thrived as a catalyst for ‘the tongue of magic’ whereby sorcery was now an art form by the use of linguistics and not specifically due to its visual aesthetics. Magic was not particularly illegal but more of a separate entity that requires guidance by governing laws and how it was employed into an ever changing world. Especially where crimes were committed. Committed in the name of said Magic.

Conflicts overseas saw new periods of ‘learned magic’, as seen through symbols, secrets. Literature was sought out keenly as a way of potentially finding the core aspects of a widespread heritage. Especially where power was concerned. In essence, the knowledge and use of power that other countries had and how to possibly gain it.

During and after the Crusades there was less fear and more intrigue attached to ‘learned principles and quality’ of information and study. There was an exceptional availability of Hebrew and Greek texts, Eurasian, Arabic, Persian and Egyptian manuscripts to study and decipher. As well as geometric symbols. There was an educational movement of sorts that saw a growing trend in the quest for a deep and rich pour of symbolism to translate. Do we then coin this as Magic or literature. Or both?

Much of this content infused the ethereal with the earthly. Celestial bodies and allignments, Angelic and their Monstrous opposites. Offering rules and regulations for dealing with malevolent entities and for gathering protection within a group. This coupled with modernising ancient texts by ostracising language, formed approved or accepted routes toward ritual and actual acts of worship. Including and not aside from all types of Magic mentioned above. So, with Worship being belief. Is it then Religion or Magic? Or again, both?

How valid are it’s principles? And where does the word ‘Magic’ actually belong? Does historical magic and modern magic influence outcomes or assist its practitioners?

As the ‘behaviour’ that was attached to magic was questioned, it opened an expanse of potential infusions and uses once more. Herbalists and Natural Remedy became more commonplace as long as it had no connotation connected with its study and practice. Astrology was also taking on a new form that would include growing references to coinciding with auspicious times and dates in the performance and use of plant based cures and also scientific study. The application and result of which would determine its place amid either science or magic. Either by failing and accusing practitioners of accelerating illness through invoking demons, or by blessing and healing through an exact science and remedy through the accurate dosages of mixed natural medicine. Either way, persecution or commendations were an absolute lottery depending upon the practitioner and recipient of Magic.

Modern textual references also prove the use of Ritual animal sacrifice in places such as Polynesia, Haiti, South America, Norway, Siberia, Greece and Africa to name but a few. With most ceremonies being performed by Learned Elders. Who, through initiations and instruction have been given the blessing and status of being a Shaman or Medicine Man/Woman or Priest. More often that not, termed as uncivilised, or a practice that is classed as an abomination by its very act. I don’t know about You, but I had a slaughtered Turkey last Christmas, and gave Gratitude and Thanks. Symbolism at its most commercial for instance.

An ecclesiastical interaction would potentially suggest the possible connection to dark arts and demons. This is biased dependant upon belief. There is no tangible proof that any intervention by any establishment or culture change has actually affected the origins, core aspects or individual attachment to where the belief in Magic is concerned. And to no effect. Yet it has been dumbed down and revived time and time again as a methodology in which to either cast blame on to or to be accepted and serve the church as well.

Are we separate from Magic in our individual belief on the subject and it’s potential, if it has any at all? Are there Religious aspects to Worship and are they valid forms of prayer?
Does the mind intervene as a protection mechanism? Do we inadvertently make things fit in attempt to confirm our own paradigm?

To assist the civilised viewpoint, England never actually immersed itself fully in the charm of Magic. Unlike the rest of the British Isles and Europe, which distilled folklore tales and embraced all types of mysticism as a means of cultivating traditional values amongst the poor, and a warning ‘not’ to take ancient knowledge lightly. The English Realm on the other hand, supposed that if it did not harm the Crown as a method to overthrow or defeat or even through a treasonous intent, it was seen as completely harmless. Either by spoken word or it’s Symbolism.

Without digressing into a named index, The Occult and Magic have been taken extremely seriously by many figure heads throughout recent history and given rise to the large and expansive acceptance of such words. And how they are used.

There remains a Vagrancy Act which was passed by Parliament which states that Fortune Telling is against the Law, and various laws worldwide, which include (but not limited to) ‘Witches must fly below 150ft’ where anything above is punishable as it would be perceived as ‘actual’ Magic!

Perhaps the overall message for the everyday individual who is inclined to dip their toe in, or delve into the deeper meanings and concepts of Magic. Is simply to realise and remember that however You find it. You alone can embrace it. And You alone will interpret it. It is a personal journey and one that favours an open mind, an honest heart and an authentic approach. Magic is within.

I trust that this finds You well 💫
