This week, we completed our Clinical PEG training program. 🤝

The session provided training for staff who were not previously qualified, while also offering refresher training for existing trained staff to reinforce their knowledge and skills. 📕 💊

This is provided by local registered PEG nurses. 🧑‍⚕️

Our wonderful Kylie 🩷😘 is leaving us today to go to Camp America for three months as she does every year. Living life to the fullest 🌍 🩷

Watching you grow in confidence and the impact you have had on all you care for we are so proud of you.🥰

We will be waiting for you when you return to us later in the year and so will all your lovely clients 🩷💜

People ask all the time what is it that keeps you in the care sector?

For me personally, it’s getting the privilege to meet such wonderful humans of all kinds that tell you incredible stories. 📖 🥰👵

Our client in 2013 won a Pride Of Britain Award for Local Hero. 🥇

At the time 86-year-old Anne volunteered as a street pastor in the city, working tirelessly around Union Street until the early hours of the morning, helping late night revellers emerging from the pubs and clubs. Additionally, she ran a lunch club for the homeless and works at two soup kitchens in to which she donated her monthly pension to.

Now aged 99 we have had the privilege to look after her for 2 years now and her pride of Britain award and newspaper article still sits as a shrine on her mantle piece.🩷😘

She doesn’t seek recognition it’s something which was just close to her heart and gave her purpose 🧡💜

One of our carers enjoyed some quality time with a service user, sharing an ice cream while taking in the stunning views across Plymouth Sound🍨 🍦

Enjoying the warm sun after the recent change of weather 👀

With plenty of people out enjoying the sunshine and good vibes, it was a wonderful opportunity to get out, socialise, and enjoy the fresh air.🌳 ☀️

Simple outings like these can have a positive impact on mental wellbeing, helping to boost mood, encourage connection, and create happy memories of 🎥

☀️ Enjoying the Sunshine ☀️

During the warm weather , one of our lovely clients enjoyed some time outdoors with one of one of her dedicated carers. Opportunities to get out and enjoy the fresh air are rare for her, making days like this extra special.🌳 ☀️

This carer has supported our client for over three years, across two care companies -alongside myself and other familiar members of our team. 💜🧡

The trusted relationships we build are at the heart of the care we provide.🥰

As you can see from the photos, she enjoyed every minute of her outing, soaking up the sunshine and fresh air with a big smile on her face.🧡💜
