Tune in to BBC One Morning Live tomorrow from around 9.15 to watch BAD President, Dr Tamara Griffiths in a BBC film exploring sunbed ads on social media.

A recent BBC investigation uncovered more than 200 adverts from sunbed shops on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook making unproven health claims, including aiding weight loss, preventing colds, treating seasonal affective disorder, and helping to manage skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and acne.

The Advertising Standards Authority ruled these types of ads misleading and banned six tanning adverts for making irresponsible health claims.

In this BBC film, industry claims are put under the spotlight, and UV imaging will be assessed by Tamara to show hidden skin damage in real time.
