The step up is a personal favourite of mine for middle stage rehab, it can tell you a lot about a person’s single leg strength, balance and most importantly confidence in the in injured limb

Phase two for and the progress is seriously showing.
Restoring a normal gait was a huge early win.

Now we’re pushing into single‑leg and lateral work to open the hip, strengthen stabilisers, and build real‑world dynamic control.

It’s been a pleasure working with James following his accident before Christmas.

A combination of focused strengthening work in the gym and targeted manual therapy has helped him build confidence, regain function, and get back into the kitchen doing what he loves.

Great progress and even better dedication from him throughout.

We are so excited to welcome our very own James Tanner back into the kitchen just in time to celebrate 20 years at the barbican kitchen!
