We’re finally allowed to tell you! Former Corrie star Emrhys Cooper is saddling up for Posturite's record-breaking this week! 🚴‍♀️

Big thank you to actor and director Emrhys for his star-studded support for our big charity event in aid of Stroke Association 💜

Emrhys – who played the sinister cult leader Rowan Cunliffe in – joins our 33-strong team riding from London to Sussex on 11 June.

He became one of the Stroke Association's celebrity ambassadors after his mother had a devastating stroke in 2020.

Sussex resident Emrhys said: “I got sober nearly two years ago, and my mother’s stroke was a significant wake-up call for me. Since then, health, fitness, and discipline have become a central part of my recovery and daily life. Just as importantly, recovery has brought a real shift in perspective for me - less focus on myself, and much more on connection, service, and showing up for others.

“My grandmother also passed away from a stroke, so this is a deeply personal cause, one I feel honoured to give my full focus to.”

We’re so happy to announce the result of our recent Support Stroke Sale! Wow – we donated £19,283 to the Stroke Association! Thank you to everyone who made a purchase during the sale – we gave 10% of the value to the charity during the event.

All making a very nice contribution indeed to the £140,000 Posturite has raised for our charity partner the Stroke Association!

It’s incredibly motivating to hear from our Partnerships Manager Julia Simpson the impact that £19,283 could have. For example, it could fund a Stroke Support Co-ordinator to deliver tailored advice and support to stroke survivors for an entire six months!
