Often dismissed as nothing more than a prickly w**d, the humble thistle has long held a place in the folklore & magic of these lands

In traditional folk magic, thistles have been used in protective workings, placed near the home to ward away unwanted energies & carried as a symbol of resilience, courage & strength through challenging times

The next time you pass a patch of thistles, perhaps pause for a moment before walking by. Notice the bees drawn to its flowers, the determination with which it grows & the quiet lesson it offers... That sometimes the things that protect us are also the things that help us flourish.

When I’m not holding space for others, I’m still very much a witch in my own practice

You’ll often find me with my nose in a folklore book, wandering ancient landscapes, leaving offerings of gratitude, or visiting places that keep the stories of witchcraft alive. This photo was taken outside the Museum of Witchcraft & Magic in Cornwall, a place that always leaves me feeling inspired & deeply connected to those who walked this path before us

My own practice is quiet, rooted in the seasons, shaped by tradition, and always evolving. The more I learn, the more I realise there is still so much magic to discover.

Sharing these moments feels important, because the work I do through Callisto Holistics grows from my own lived practice. I never stop learning, exploring, or deepening my connection with the craft

There’s something quietly enchanting about a crystal sphere
