Organ Transplant Driver
Location: North west

Emergency Medical Transport is seeking highly reliable, compassionate, and professional drivers to support lifesaving organ and tissue transport services across the north west area.You will play a vital part in ensuring safe, timely, and secure delivery of organs, blood products, and medical specimens for NHS and partner hospitals.

This role requires precision, responsibility, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Every journey makes a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport organs, blood, and medical specimens between hospitals, laboratories, and transplant centres
• Maintain strict time-critical schedules and temperature-controlled handling procedures
• Follow NHS transport protocols and chain-of-custody documentation
• Ensure vehicles are regularly checked, maintained, and ready for deployment
• Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and patient dignity at all times
Requirements
• Full UK Driving Licence (clean licence preferred)
• Previous professional driving or ex police etc
• Strong knowledge of the Northwest and UK motorway networks
• Ability to work nights, weekends, bank holidays, and on-call shifts
• Excellent time-management and communication skills
• Calm, reliable, and disciplined under pressure
• Enhanced DBS check required or willingness to obtain
