Today, rest for me looked like an enormous chocolate milkshake, a lazy afternoon and doing very little. 🍫🥤

Tomorrow it might look like good food and exploring somewhere new.

Whichever way it looks, I’m loving not having to be anywhere or achieve anything.

And although I am working a little while I’m away, it’s good to remind myself that a holiday is also about simply enjoying yourself.

Sometimes rest is just… rest. ❤️

Have you ever glanced at the clock and seen 11:11?

Or noticed the same number appearing again and again — on the clock, a receipt, a number plate, your phone?

I’ve been talking about angel numbers this week for Know Your Numbers Week, and it got me thinking about the numbers that seem to follow us around.

For me, one of those is 21:34.

I started noticing it and then it kept appearing until I eventually looked it up.

What I discovered was a message about new beginnings, following your dreams and - importantly - actually doing something about them.

The interesting bit? I initially heard only half the message.

It took the number continuing to appear, and me actually doing the work, for the rest of it to make sense.

And then there’s 11:11.

Every single time I see it, my immediate reaction is:

“Hello, angels.”

There’s a lot more to angel numbers than repeating digits on a clock, though. In this week’s blog, I’m exploring why we notice numbers in the first place, the long history of finding meaning in numbers, synchronicity, intuition — and what happens when we start paying attention to the signs that keep showing up around us.

Today is National Day of Encouragement, so here’s a little encouragement for anyone who needs it.

You are allowed to stop.
You are allowed to rest.
You are allowed to move slowly.

And you are allowed to be proud of how far you’ve come, even if you’re nowhere near where you expected you’d be by now.

We’re so often taught to measure ourselves against other people - their achievements, their timelines, their version of success.

But no two journeys look the same.

Different starting points.
Different challenges.
Different pace.
Different paths.

Perhaps we don’t need to be asking ourselves “How far should I have got by now?”

Perhaps we can simply ask ourselves:
“How far have I come?”

Remember, when you need encouragement, to accept it.
And when you have some to give, offer it.

We’re all somewhere on the path. 🤍

🌑♍ New Moon in Virgo Card Pull ♍🌑

And the card that came forward is…

🐆 Panther Spirit — Reclaim Your Power

It feels like such a powerful card for this New Moon.

Virgo asks us to come back down to earth. To stop trying to figure everything out at once and instead notice what is actually within our control.

What needs simplifying?
What no longer fits?
What small, practical step could bring us closer to the life we know we want?

And then Panther Spirit arrives with a reminder:

The time for simply dreaming about what we want is beginning to give way to action.

Not necessarily a huge, dramatic leap. Just that first courageous act. That moment when we decide to stop waiting for the perfect time, the perfect plan, or permission from someone else…

…and begin to reclaim our own power.

The book talks about the possibility of a “new identity” feeling strange at first.

I really love that.

Because sometimes becoming more fully ourselves can feel unfamiliar precisely because we have spent so long being who we thought we needed to be.

You might not feel completely ready. You might not know exactly where the path is leading. But perhaps your soul already knows the direction.

And there is another little synchronicity here too…

The number on Panther Spirit is 44.

Four is very much about foundations, structure, grounding and taking practical steps. And 4 + 4 = 8 — a number often associated in numerology with power, manifestation, abundance and the ability to bring something into tangible form.

So perhaps this isn’t about making one enormous leap. Perhaps it’s about putting one foot in front of the other.

Building something solid. Making the choice. Taking the step. Reclaiming a little more of your power each time.

🐆 Be bold. Your soul wants this.

So, as you sit with this New Moon, ask yourself:

Where am I ready to reclaim my power?

The recent eclipse season may have brought shifts, revelations or changes that are still settling within you.

And now, as we approach the New Moon in Virgo 🌑♍, we are invited to come back down to earth.

Virgo reminds us that we don’t need to reinvent our entire lives overnight.

Instead, we can pause and ask ourselves…

What still fits?
What no longer feels aligned with where I am going?
What small changes could I make now that would support the future I want to create?

This New Moon invites us to ground ourselves, simplify what feels unnecessarily complicated and pay attention to the things that help us feel well, steady and alive.

Sometimes the most powerful changes begin with something small.

A new habit.
A clearer boundary.
A little more space.
A decision to stop carrying something that no longer belongs to you.

You don’t need to know the whole path yet.
Just notice what is becoming clear. 🌑

To pause. To breathe. To talk, if you want to. To listen. To reflect. To reconnect with yourself.

You don’t need to arrive with a problem to solve. You don’t need to know exactly what you’re looking for. Sometimes, simply giving yourself the space to stop and listen is enough.

Or perhaps, like me, a completely random number that seems to pop up everywhere! Mine is 21:34… and I seem to see 34 constantly. 👀😂

Do you ever keep seeing the same number?

Noticing 11:11 whenever you look at the clock is one thing… but I seem to have my own rather specific version of this.

21:34 appears for me an awful lot. And 34 seems to be everywhere.

I don’t mean I deliberately go looking for it. I’ll just glance at the clock and there it is again. Or notice a number somewhere and, somehow, it’s 34.

Of course, there are plenty of explanations for why we notice particular patterns once they’ve caught our attention. But there is also something rather lovely about the idea that the universe is trying to get our attention.

Either way, it has made me curious…
