And as much as I absolutely love Dolly, I am encouraging you, if you know of somebody's good heart and deeds, shout out today!

It might never happen to you, if you are lucky...

But if you have cut your toenails many times and made them bleed, even when you were very careful and wonder why, you probably just have high hyponychium...(long word, I know...🤷🏻‍♀️)

What is a High Hyponychium?

The hyponychium is the skin underneath the free edge of the toenail. In some people, this area can become more prominent or extend further underneath the nail, sometimes making nail care more challenging.

Why is Maintenance Important?

Regular, gentle foot care can help:

🌱Keep toenails at a comfortable length
🌱 Reduce pressure and rubbing inside footwear
🌱Prevent nails catching on socks
🌱Maintain healthy-looking nails and surrounding skin
🌱 Reduce the risk of discomfort from excessive nail length
🌱 Identify changes in the nails or surrounding skin at an early stage

✂️ Safe Nail Care Matters
When the hyponychium is prominent, do not cut, dig or pick underneath the nail. Nails should be trimmed carefully and gradually, avoiding injury to the skin underneath.
If the nail is painful, thickened, discoloured, damaged, or difficult to maintain, professional foot care may be appropriate.

It is celebrated on Saturday, August 15, 2026. This annual event encourages people of all ages to slow down, disconnect from stressful chores or work, and prioritize their physical and mental health.. (found that on the 🕸) 😉

You can try and guess where this photo was taken, but more importantly, try and find your own place and ways to relax, good for the body, even better for the soul...
I can't think of anything better than a foresty spot on a hot day...piece and tranquility 😊🌱🦋🐞🥰🪷🌼

✨ A little foot care can make a BIG difference! ✨

Today I had the pleasure of caring for a lovely gentleman whose other half kindly arranged an appointment for him. ❤️

He had been experiencing pain with every step he took. After taking a closer look, it was easy to understand why — he had been walking on his toenails for a very long time. Several nails were extremely thickened and misshapen, with bruising beneath some of them, making everyday walking incredibly uncomfortable.

After the gentleman's brave decision to let me work my magic, I was able to give his feet the care and attention they had been missing. 🦶✨

The best part? He was absolutely delighted and happily started walking around his home, enjoying his “new pair of feet”! 😊

He has now rebooked and is planning to keep up with regular foot care — which is exactly what I love to hear! 💕
