Have you lost someone close to you?
The Bereavement Journey® is a welcoming seven-session programme for anyone who has experienced bereavement, whether recently or some time ago. Through short films, guided discussion, and a welcoming group, you'll have the opportunity to explore your grief alongside others who understand what you're going through.

Topics include:
• Understanding grief and loss
• Why grief can be so painful
• Anger and guilt
• Coping with other people's reactions
• Delayed or suppressed grief
• Adjusting to life after loss
• Moving forward in a healthy way

The course is open to all adults, whatever your faith or beliefs. The final session, which explores faith and bereavement from a Christian perspective, is entirely optional.

📅 Starts: Sunday 18 October

Invitations to book the Flu and Covid-19 vaccinations are being sent to eligible patients via text message, email and letters. This year patients are able to have both vaccines together at the same appointment.

There are many ways that you can let us know if you
can’t attend your appointment:
• Calling the surgery - call 24/7 and press option 1 to
leave a message for the team,
• By replying CANCEL to your reminder text,
• Using online services such as the NHS App,
• Calling or popping in to speak to reception,
• Submitting our Online Health Form (via our website)

Your annual diabetes review is an important opportunity to check how you’re doing, identify any concerns early and help you stay well.

At The Adam Practice, you can complete your annual diabetes review as part of one of our Diabetes Group Clinics.
Our group clinics give you the opportunity to have your essential diabetes checks while also receiving support and information alongside other patients living with diabetes.

📅 Diabetes Group Clinics are held on Monday and Wednesday mornings.
