✨ My NeoGen Skin Journey – 5 Days of Recovery, 9 Months of Regeneration ✨

Take a look at my personal NeoGen skin journey, showing the treatment and the recovery process over the first five days. I wanted to share a real insight into what happens to the skin following NeoGen nitrogen plasma treatment.

Following treatment, the skin develops a natural protective barrier as the epidermis begins its renewal process. This temporary layer plays an important role in protecting the skin during recovery.

Around day 3, I started to notice the skin peeling as the renewed epidermal layer developed beneath. The peeling process lasted just over two days, and by day 6, my skin had returned to normal. ✨

But the results don’t stop when the peeling finishes!

💫 The longer-term regenerative process continues over the following 6–9 months, as collagen remodelling takes place, supporting improvements in skin firmness, tightening, lifting and overall skin quality.

This is one of the things I find so exciting about NeoGen. While the initial recovery is visible over a few days, the deeper regenerative changes continue long after the skin has healed.

As with all advanced skin treatments, recovery varies from person to person depending on the treatment settings, skin type and individual healing response.

DERMAL FILLER — IT’S NOT ONE SIZE FITS ALL ✨

💉Did you know that dermal fillers can have very different consistencies — and the filler selected can depend on where it is being injected and the result we are trying to achieve?

💉It’s not simply about which filler is used. The depth, technique, placement and product characteristics all matter.

💉 BOLUS TECHNIQUE
A small, precise amount of filler — often around 0.1–0.3ml — can be placed deeper within the tissues. This technique can be used when we are looking to create subtle structural support or projection in a specific area.

〰️ LINEAR THREADING
Here, the filler is deposited in a controlled linear thread as the needle or cannula is withdrawn. This is commonly used more superficially with a softer, more flexible filler that can integrate into the tissues and provide a more subtle effect.

✨ THE RIGHT FILLER FOR THE RIGHT AREA

Different areas of the face have different anatomy, tissue characteristics and movement. A product that is appropriate for one area may not be appropriate for another.

That’s why your practitioner should have a thorough understanding of:
