I honestly can’t believe I’m saying this… I’m a finalist for ‘Young Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the South Wales Business Awards! 🥹🏆

Since launching FACE AESTHETICS in October 2023, I’ve worked hard to build a business centred around clinical excellence, education and client trust.

In that time, I’ve:
Doubled my client base year on year
Partnered with an award-winning global medical skincare company
Developed specialist teen acne research and treatment packages, and created a successful skin coaching membership.
Become a speaker at Business & Educational events

Alongside growing my business, I’ve progressed in my NHS career to Band 6, while continuing to develop my clinical knowledge and bring that experience into my aesthetics practice.

This year, I was also incredibly proud to receive
✨Best Facial Rejuvenation Clinic 2026 at the Welsh Enterprise Awards.✨

But I’m not stopping here. I have huge plans for the future, with a vision to grow FACE AESTHETICS BY MVB into a leading business focused on aesthetic medicine, skin health and wellbeing.

To have achieved all of this in such a short space of time, while building everything from the ground up, is something I’m incredibly proud of.

How PCOS effects the skin✨

It’s been too long since I’ve shown a filler dissolve & restart 🪄✨

The Details:

Stage 1 — Initial presentation: migrated filler

Fullness extending superiorly beyond the natural vermilion border of the upper lip.

The upper lip appears to have a less defined vermilion border, with a degree of supra-vermilion fullness. Rather than producing additional projection within the lip itself, some of the existing filler appears to be contributing to fullness above the lip.

Stage 2 — Post-dissolve / pre-refill assessment

The lips is comparatively deflated and less projected, particularly through the upper lip. The natural vermilion border and Cupid’s bow are visible, but there is less overall volume.

Stage 3 — Refill / final result

The lips have increased projection and definition while maintaining a relatively natural vermilion border.
Outcomes achieved:
* More defined at the vermilion border
* Better proportioned in relation to the lower lip
* More projected within the lip itself
* Less full above the natural lip border
* More symmetrical
* Softer and more natural in appearance

Oh to the assumptions🫣

1)I am the WORST with pain. 😂 I genuinely practise what I preach, don’t get treatments just for the sake of it.

Aesthetics should always be a considered decision, never an impulse. Personally, I only have chin filler (my last treatment was almost 2 years ago!), alongside regular peels and microneedling to keep my skin healthy.

2)Running an aesthetics business is so much more expensive than people realise. 😅

It’s not just the products, there’s prescriptions, delivery, clinical waste, insurance, rent, software, training, equipment, tax… the list goes on.

People only see the treatment price, but there’s so much behind the scenes to provide a safe, high-quality service. 🤍

3)Some of my most popular treatments take just 20 minutes, meaning I can see up to three clients an hour.

It makes for a busy clinic, and I absolutely love it! For me, success isn’t measured by the hours I work: it’s measured by happy clients who keep coming back. Their loyalty means everything. 🤍

4)I love being a nurse, I love being busy, and I love building the life I always dreamed of.

Back in 2022, my five-year plan was to build my business and find a job closer to home. I’ve achieved both sooner than I ever imagined.

No matter where life takes me, I’ll always stay true to my morals, values, and why I started. 🤍
