⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"Megan is brilliant. She explained the process at the beginning, explored the issue with my knee in great depth and carried out a number of diagnostic and screening manipulations before she started to treat me.

Highly competent and knowledgeable, she is able not only to provide the treatment but to explain the underlying issues and rationale for the treatment she gives, and give short and long term recommendations for improving the joint and muscle function and maintaining it.

Her treatment was effective, considerate, caring and targeted, and I am delighted with what she's achieved and how she went about the whole process. There is no question that I would recommend her, and would return at any time with this or any other musculoskeletal problem. Absolutely first class."

This might appear unusual – as most individuals visit us when they're in pain. This is accurate. However, have you realised that pain isn't your body's initial reaction but its final one?

When your body finally perceives pain, the underlying elements might have been accumulating for a while. Our bodies excel at adjusting, managing, and persevering.

Nonetheless, there comes a juncture when this becomes more challenging, prompting our bodies to signal that something is amiss.

That's when pain steps in.

Put your body and your health first and step in before the pain does✨

Is hand pain cramping your cycling style? 🚴

Symptoms: Pain, which can be accompanied with weakness and pins and needles, in your ring finger and little finger.

Common Causes: Irritation of a nerve which passes on the underside of your wrist, known in medical terms as ‘ulnar neuropathy’. This is caused by holding handlebars in one position for too long.

What you can do: Try altering your grip position more frequently when out riding to prevent the build-up of tension. If things don’t improve, an Osteopath can help to increase the mobility of your wrist and elbow to reduce any tension on your nerve.

Let us know if this helps!

The Hidden Source of Pain: Why Visceral Osteopathy Matters

Have you ever struggled with persistent lower back pain that just won't budge? Or perhaps you deal with a stubborn, bloated stomach despite eating a balanced diet. The root cause might not be your muscles or joints. It could be your organs.

Visceral osteopathy is a specialized, gentle form of manual therapy. It focuses on the health and movement of your internal organs and the connective tissue (fascia) that holds them in place.

How Do Organs Cause Pain?Your organs are not just floating freely; they are attached to your spine, ribs, and pelvis. Just like a muscle, an organ can lose its mobility due to stress, poor posture, inflammation, or scar tissue from a past surgery. When an organ cannot move freely, it creates a tug-of-war effect inside your body. For example: A restriction around the liver or stomach can pull on the diaphragm and lead to chronic neck or shoulder pain. Tension in the intestines can restrict pelvic movement, causing deep, unexplained lower back pain.

The Key Benefits
By using precise, gentle manual pressure, an osteopath can release these internal restrictions. This therapy offers several distinct health benefits:

Soothes Digestive Issues: It physically eases tension to help relieve bloating, acid reflux, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

Resolves Mysterious Back Pain: Releasing the internal strain on your skeleton often cures long-standing structural pain.

Breaks Down Scar Tissue: It gently softens adhesions left behind by abdominal surgeries, such as C-sections or appendix removals.Boosts Circulation: Improved mobility enhances blood flow and lymphatic drainage, allowing your body to heal faster.
