Archie the cat paid a special visit to one of our cat-loving residents at Braemar this morning, bringing smiles, comfort and absolute delight.

With his incredibly soft fur, calm nature and confident personality, Archie happily settled in for plenty of fuss and attention, making himself completely at home. It was lovely to see the genuine joy and connection his visit created – a reminder of just how powerful the companionship of animals can be.

A huge thank you to our wonderful Administrator, Sophie, and her husband for making this special visit possible. We know it meant the world to our resident, and we're so grateful for your kindness.

We had a truly wonderful visit today from Colin at Wings of Freedom (https://www.wingsoffreedom.org.uk), who gave a fascinating presentation for our residents and introduced us to some incredible birds of prey — including a beautiful barn owl. 🦉

Residents loved learning about the birds, hearing their stories, and having the opportunity to see them up close. It was such a special experience and brought so many smiles, conversations, and lovely memories throughout the afternoon.

A huge thank you to Colin for sharing his time, knowledge, and these amazing birds with us. What an unforgettable time! 💚

Today we say a heartfelt thank you and goodbye to Ann, who left us today as she prepares to move away.
