Had a scrumptious afternoon tea at Just-Ice in Poynton with some of my Pilates students today. Can’t recommend this place highly enough - lovely staff, delicious food (including ice cream made with only natural and fairtrade ingredients) and it’s actually a charity supporting victims of human trafficking.

Hi friends around the world!
Are any of you still toying with the idea of moving more this year but not quite got round to it yet? Why not join my ‘Young at heart’ class on Zoom? It’s a short, 20 minute class, focussing on the circulatory system (the heart and lungs).

It costs just £3.00! It is done on Zoom with the idea that it can fit easily into your day and does not take out any more than the 20 minutes length of the class. It is based on walking but also involves some low-impact moves (no jumping or running, unless you want to). There is no complex choreography, just easy, simple to follow moves, suitable for everyone, with some accompanying up-beat music and a variety of speeds (but nothing too fast!). To encourage continuity, these classes need to be paid for in advance in blocks of six (£18) as with all of my Pilates classes. There are a number of sessions during the week so there are options to join alternative classes if you can't make your regular class:

Mondays 12 noon
Tuesdays 10.30am
Wednesdays 11.30am
Fridays 3.30pm
Sundays 9.30am
