What a brilliant week at ARC 2 🌟

📰 ARC Newspaper
We officially launched our very own ARC newspaper, and members have already started collaborating on the first edition. The ideas are flowing and the excitement is real.

🇩🇪 German Lessons
Mark’s German group has been practising new words and phrases — wunderbar progress all round.

🧵 Sewing Bees
Huge congratulations to Cam and Sue who completed their handmade bears this week. They look fantastic.

🕒 Life Skills
Danny learnt how to make burgers from scratch, and the group have been working hard on telling the time using a traditional clock.

💃 Dance Group
Our dancers have been rehearsing with Gemma for their Blackpool performance, and with Emma and Misha for the Everyone Move autumn show. The energy is incredible.

🎓 Representation
Cam and Savannah represented The ARC at Knowsley College’s Moving On event, answering questions about life at The ARC with confidence and pride.

🌿 Nature Group
Tuesday’s Nature Group enjoyed a peaceful visit to Calderstones Park, taking in the greenery and wildlife.

🎶 Music Group
Ant’s music group began learning about music technology — including how to set up hardware so we can record our own music in the future.

Another week full of creativity, learning and community. Well done everyone 💛

Our Superstar Emily ⭐️⭐️
Graduated from ARC 1 to 2 and over the past year has transformed how she adapts to sessions, with not only a positive attitude , but with a passion to learn new things , which certainly take her out of her comfort zone .

The New SNUG at Arc One has been a revelation.
The book club has not only engaged most members, but has brought out personalities we never knew existed. Interactive story telling and creative writing has prompted our members to get in to character and explore acting roles . We are extremely thankful to have Mark Campbell working with us 🙏📚📖

The ARC Education & Transition Centre facilitates members who will progress to independent living and who plan to enter into relationships. The ARC 2 staff have completed courses enabling them to deliver S*x Education . Today Anne Benson (Operations manager ) facilitates AQA education in maintaining sexual health .
